They’re definitely using something like EVE-O Preview Plus. Even with hot keys and really teeny windows it’s still way too hard to click between them to issue commands.

A person running two or three clients, an irritation. A person running 20 an impediment. It is not ideal to impact 5,000 players with a small delay because 10 people ‘push the envelope’ it would be a preferred ‘mid point’ than an extreme solution like banning multiboxing outright.

I don’t know how you “ban” multiboxing, but I think most would agree that 20+ ships is excessive.

Its possible, about 12 years go CCP did a thing to the client that broke multi-boxing after downtime, normally there would be about 18k on an hour after DT and it was down to 5k until it was fixed, so that gives you an rough idea how many ‘bums in seats’ there actually is at any given point.
