It is where the servers are yes but keep in mind that CCP is an Icelandic company and as such is also regulated by EU Law which is the same and classes this as gambling.

CCP may not read these posts because they are very toxic. People suggest ideas and are insulted away, not even an attempt at debate or of suggestion of improvement, just âcarebear get outâ or âlol minerâ. Likely they avoided mentioning it at EVE Vegas because of the toxicity.
So they announce it now.

I can see the argument with lockboxes, especially the ones that have fancy sounds and other things to try and get you to buy more. However ccp could easily just convert the tokens into plex, so they can claim that it is made ingame, or bought for subscriptions.

They can always move to the USA if the EU laws get too restrictive.
Actually wardec changes were very good for a lot of groups. You now have risk tied to structures, want structures, expect war. The mechanics can be debated if good or bad, but it was a good change, even though many disagreed with it at the start.

Being a lootbox game is one of the fastest way to kill the gameitself.
Theyâll get good income but it doesnât last long.

The wardec changes were a good change, but to me, that may be the last positive change I have seen so far
