Also, much of the “anti gambling” legislation in the USA for example is a joke. It is not to protect the people its to keep the existing casinos as a monopoly. Who lobbies for anti gambling legislation? Indian casinos, Nevada casinos, etc. So its pure hypocrisy on the part of the legislature. A total joke and you people buy into it.

Go look up your countries laws regarding online gambling - If you aren’t in a 3rd world country you will probably find there is or soon will be legislation that restricts gambling in online games - For Bob’s sake, even Korea is working on legislation to cover it and as CCP is now a Korean owned company, well…

It doesn’t justify to take a good thing away from others … but i truly don’t understand what is the actual value of such activities… in long run, you are going to lose all the time no matter what … you just make someone rich for a bit of hormone injection? you think that is healthy! If you think so, i encourage you to give your kids some cigs and a wiksey and take them to casino one day so, they can also see how fun it is… i bet they would like to try that… if we are allowed to do those things… why the kids aren’t? for sure not all of them will grow up as alcoholics or addicts…
The value is in entertainment. So you watch TV? You paid money for it and don’t “win” anything in return. You go on a vacation? You paid money and don’t “win” anything back. So you spend(lose) money to gain fun.
As with any such activity if you overindulge it is a problem. If you gamble too much it is a problem. If you take so many vacations that you bankrupt yourself it is a problem. If you watch so much TV you don’t go to work it is a problem.
So spare us this crap about “value” and “healthy” because we can look at any activity and apply the same lens. Should we now ban all entertainment?

Addictions usually have collateral victims both in the addict’s environment and the society as some addicted people will resort to crime to pay for their addiction.
It’s not just someone destroying his own life, it’s that someone destroying the life of others in the process. Why should bystanders suffer the consequence of businesses enabling/exploiting a toxic behavior?

If I am a member of the 99.9% whom aren’t addicted why should I suffer because of the 0.1% whom can’t control themselves. The focus should be on rehabilitating/punishing them not punishing the vast majority of society because of them.

entertainment has to have a fair price! there is no entertainment in gambling… you pay for an illusion… no substract… on tv you can at least learn something… you can at least see the world on a vacation!!

I personally don’t watch sports on TV. Why? Because I think its boring to sit there and watch others play a game vs participating in a game myself. So to me there is no entertainment in sports TV. So should they ban it? In a casino game I am participating so it has more entertainment value than TV.

Titans DO have a real cash value of 500-1200€. It’s for sure 500+ for an unfitted one. I know several ppl who shelled out exactly that do get one ^^
If you want to buy a titan, have no isk, but some spare money this is the range of money you need to spend on plex to make that happen.
