If you are referring to the ratings I think they are pretty useless IMO. I imagine some parents look at a rating and just blindly give it to their kid or take away based on rating alone rather than looking at the product and deciding if their child regardless of age is mature enough for it or not.
When I was 6 I would watch R rated movies with my parents and they would explain the blood and guts as being fake etc. I didn’t end up as a serial killer.
personaly i dont care about people too young to understand gambling is bad playing the game as they are probably not going to stay playing the game as its too complex for them. Costs aren’t limited to the guilty, and if CCP wants to do this, then they should take stronger measures to avoid the problems it can cause. Changing the ratings from ‘12+’ and ‘Teen’ (13) isn’t some massive burden, and it’s pretty much the least they should consider doing.

The issue is not some moral objection to people seeing offensive content, it’s to CCP deliberately targeting and exploiting people with brain chemistry issues that leave them vulnerable to gambling addiction. Even if some people are victims of addicts, that is also an outlier in the scope of society. Sorry you were hit by a drunk but the vast majority of people aren’t. Thus there is still no reason to remove something, in this case alcohol from the vast majority of people just because there was a few victims of a few addicts. We still need to focus on the problem which is the addict, not the thing they misuse which most people are fine with.
