Introducing the HyperNet Relay

Just a quick question:
For people against the Hypernet Relay, how do you feel about Eve Vegas being replaced with San Diego?

Indifferent, but the disclaimer is that your side of the pond was never an option anyway. Hypothetically though, I’m sure a gaming party can be just as easily done in San Diego as Vegas. Hell, probably easier to do it right if you do it from scratch in San Diego than trying to make a Vegas joint into a nerd pasture.

The Mexican food is way better in San Diego.

HTFU!

glad ccp are doing this thanks guys thats boss

Yep…insulting supports the reason of your opinion greatly…

I have not been to Vegas or San Diego. Though I have gambled and been ripped off. I plan on losing money when I gamble and I go with a pile of friends all with current valid ID’s to prove our age. Internet and physical location is not the same thing (to all the nerds who need to get laid  ). So sure, move it to San Diego. I’ve been looking for a reason to go to Cali anyway.

p.s. The whole monetizing is the larger problem.

Yeah CCP wants a real life money tax on the eve economy.
They could easily have made the system only require isk but no they want to make a large portion of the game taxable with real life money.

Yup, I guess I’m officially done with this game. Going to nuke all my characters and go back to playing PUBG and Call of Duty. This is the kind of crap right here that turned World of Warcraft into a joke.

I’m also wondering if this is even legal in the United States as this definitely falls under online gambling with real money, the statute as I’ve read it specifically states that payment regardless of the currency or value for gambling is not legal. Maybe I forward this to the Attorney General for my state.

Please do, they can always use a good laugh!

If you do, could you post his answer?

Now that is a damn shame, Steve. I, like Brisc, was hoping to serve another term with you.
