Introducing The Winter Expansion - EVE Online: Lifeblood

Instanced Dungeon grouping is not for eve.

We just need Arenas on TQ now.

Then i can pvp safely when i wish and avoid all the evil Bad Hambres that try to unconsensualy pvp me while not in an imstanced and premade grouped arena

Well shooting the jita monument helped get the C__ executives and CEOs attention during the Greed is Good/No balls store prices and 18 months Summer of Rage.

Yet they took even our protests away from us now.

Where is our freedoms to voice our displeasure?

Guess we can remote rep the stuff outside the hubs?

Not like there is that many of us left though to even notice now

seems like a good idea if I could play eve o-o

Well, in the case of the CSM, what you can do is: VOTE. Get organized. The reason the null blocs tend to dominate the CSM is that the nullsec blocs each work together, internally. And their members have a tendency to be informed about who people in the various blocs are. Your average line member may not know ‘oh, Aryth is a Goonswarm finance guy’, but he’ll know ‘that guy’s a goon with some name recognition’.

As long as the majority of highsec players don’t engage, don’t pay attention to the EVE community, and don’t actually get to know one another, you’re going to split the highsec vote a thousand different ways and get no-where. Welcome to the democratic process.

As for getting your message to the CCP execs… send it to customer service. In-game tickets. email. Raise a fuss on forums, reddit, news sites… they pay attention, I promise.

You remember me of myself, just I burned out after fighting for WiS and the Rubicon Plan in 2013 shot down my last hopes that CCP would ever take highsec seriously. Also I had less friends to stay subscribbed for, and eventually I won EVE last year. I fell for a poorly written offer and bought 3 months of subscription for 2 accounts in February, but barely logged in after March, when CCP removed Drifter Incursions. And that was all.

I returned to the forums when they became free to access in november, and here I am, buying my ticket to pee on EVE’s tomb and say “I told you so”.

Many mmo gamers play that way actually. I used to say the same ting, but I don’t anymore. I don’t question why people play an mmo solo anymore, however I do still say that it’s unreasonable to think that a game about people playing together is going to offer a lot of content for people who solo. Solo is a reasonable choice but not one that should overshadow the multiplayer aspect of a game, development wise.

The point here is that history teaches a lesson. Incursions taught us that any content that is both lucrative and safe WILL eventually be dominated by organized groups and will push out the small guys.

And any content that offers group play but poor rewards will go unused. This was seen with the 1st incursion nerf, where incursion people screamed “it’s about the community not the isk” then promptly stopped doing incursions when CCP nerfed the rewards those incursions were reportedly “not about” lol.

History is probably about to repeat itself with these new high sec features , one way (OP and thus a draw for null sec/low sec and WH players) or another (unused all together).

Dear CCP:

You’re losing many customers because they don’t organize and tell you that you should listen to them.

Please, make them talk to you.

Sincerely,

Yiole Gionglao.

That should suffice.

It’s true, though. I mean, it shouldn’t be something management needs to be told, but it clearly is.

Is this when I’m supposed to go ‘notice me senpai!’ and drag up embarrassing tales of yesteryear to one-up Arrendis?

Finally it’s all about ISK/h and the hassle level to get it. There is only a small minority of players doing PvE stuff repeatedly(!) only for fun regardless of the rewards.

Hence without incursion like rewards any new group content’s novelty will fade very fast and CCP has to deliver the next attraction for the park …

maaaany people aren’t isolating themselves, as evidenced by all the corporations looking for members, and awoxing has almost been killed off years ago. there’s only an argument behind this, if you’re genuinely scared. are you?

Sounds interesting, at least. Sorry, but I am a little annoyed because The Agency.

If you do, lemme get the popcorn!

Wow. You guys are unbelievable. Could you at least wait for a bit more details before you rip everything apart.

May I remind you what Plato said 360 BC:

‘CCP makes everything worse and EVE is dying’

And yet, it still lives.

Can’t wait to start trawling the database, I’m sure some exciting things are gonna show up~

More than anything I’m hoping that the Warzone event will have us go to the same Drifter Outposts we see in Valkyrie - it’s a really cool structure, and seeing Drifters docked within the ring (just like Sleeper drones were first shown doing within the rings around Enclaves) is interesting  Plus it’ll give us enthusiasts some new stuff to explore haha

I will wait to see what all of this is about.
Some popcorn may be necessary too.
There is always some drama with new content.

The fun part is it didn’t even come out yet. I do agree that the trailer for an expansion feels weak as hell in comparison with others, even in comparison with ship model videos like the Cormorant, but the rest? We shall see!

… NOW GIVE ME THE MARSHAL AASDGASFAFHADFG

Well, Astrahauses will be nerfed, as previously discussed so that they have a loss.

Just watched it :joy:

It cant be possibly a trailer, I refuse to believe it something more than just a lacking prsesentation of new rafineries abilities.

Wouldn’t the plural of ‘Astrahus’ be ‘Astrahusen’? Or maybe ‘Astrahose’?
