To be fair to new players, are the Trig. ships automatically selected to be on the overview when you are born? Is it possible they have no idea there are bad ships on the gates? I had to select Trig ships on my overviews after invasions came out and I had to get shot to realize they weren’t on my overview. Adjusting your overview is something a new player wouldn’t understand.
Trigs will also scram on gates. My freighter pilot has been scrammed four(?) times so far. It happens very rarely and they will only hold for about 5-6 seconds, but it’s enough to raise the heart rate a bit.

Yes, have had this too. They just very rarely point and then drop it again. If you don’t autopilot, you are ok.

The title on this thread is hilarious. The Trigs do hit hard just don’t autopilot or fly an expensive paperbag when traveling through these systems.
