Let’s see what my activities have been for the last week:

Day

  1. Log in, kill 1 rat, get 10K SP, apply skill points, log out
  2. Log in, kill 1 rat, get 10K SP, apply skill points, log out
  3. Log in, kill 1 rat, get 10K SP, apply skill points, log out
  4. Log in, fly to belt, loose frigate due to 5 Triglavians, get another ship, fly to different belt, kill 1 rat, get 10K SP, apply skill points, log out, slightly irritated about loosing ship, but not overly so
  5. Log in, get free 25K SP, kill 1 rat, get 10K SP, apply skill points, log out
  6. Log in, get free 25K SP, kill 5 rat, get 25K SP, apply skill points, log out
  7. Log in, get free 25K SP, kill 1 rat, get 10K SP, apply skill points, log out

Grand total played, maybe 1 hour. I don’t see the plan being any different this week. I’d rather play Farm Sim or Factorio right now that EVE; mainly because I’m not spending 70%+ of my time warping between encounters.

You’re doing better than me.

Login get free sp, logout

Without the free sp. doubt I’d get past the login page.

Nobody is making you collect the free SP, just ignore it and do something else.

Free sp is always welcome, long may it continue. :vulcan_salute:

EVE ONLINE FOREVER!

They should change the name to AFK OFFLINE.

Once can always hope that the game will turn around and therefore the collected skill points are worth it.

I’m only playing this while I wait for a better game to come along.

Unfortunately, that has not happened yet.

Funny how things didn’t change and… somehow changed a lot in more than 17 years. Since beta I hear people saying eve is dying. I remember the day when tranquility couldn’t stand 6k players and fountain battles would brake the servers. Been a long time since I last logged in. Payed omega just for the pleasure of seeing my account still exists.

In fact, I have to say… congrats to CCP for keeping things going for that long time.

I have to thank you. Back then (2002 /2003) I was deep into a depression crisis and I can say that eve saved me. As funny or strange as it might seem, I had a sense of purpose. That kept me alive enough to sort things out.

Again, thank you and congratulations.

to answer original op, we just had a fight in null sec with over 500 people…sounds totally dead to me… :sunglasses:

In the good ole’ days, 500 ships fights were known as a “weekend brawl”. :upside_down_face:

22.7k online going into peak time, it was the same last night, what the ■■■■ is going on.

It’s definitely down from is highs years ago but that’s not deterministic. This could be simply be a lower level which could be sustainable. Also eve isn’t a static product so changes can be made that will shift the pcu.

But hey I’ve been hearing Eve’s dying for years one of these times it’ll be right.
