Is Hisec ganking good for the game?

I’ve been to nullsec. The last time I was in nullsec, we took out an entire mining fleet, and there was no CONCORD to protect them. The last time I was in lowsec, I shot the enemy spaceship and then I just sat there waiting to die. Suddenly, I realized… oh, right, there’s no CONCORD here. So I warped away, with my ship safe and sound.

In nullsec, and lowsec, I can coast along in my interceptor at high speed. I can relax and look at the stars, and even go AFK with no problem. In Highsec, faction police would kill me within seconds. Those are basic game mechanics.

It’s blatantly obvious that nullsec is ‘easy mode’. It’s blatantly obvious that it’s harder to PvP when your ship will automatically explode within seconds.

Can you refute that logically?

Any target is automatically, by definition, more difficult to gank in Highsec. Highsec is a ‘safe space’, and by design, the game makes it more difficult to kill targets in Highsec. Consequently, if you are trying to kill people, Highsec is the most difficult place to operate. Those are just basic game mechanics.

And didn’t took any space. Didn’t took down a Fortizar. Maybe didn’t even stayed there long enough to be worth forming a fleet.

All you did is

That is called “fleeing”, a valid resource when dealing with superior forces but hardly anything to be proud of.

That’s right, I warped in, killed a target, and then I “fled”.

Why would I want to claim any space in nullsec? I’m not a carebear, like you, so I’m not interested in moon mining and ratting. I don’t want that space - it’s garbage, for poors who have to grind. I’ve got the best space in the game, right next to Jita.

That’s like living on Park Place.

That doesn’t even make sense.

What?! if making sense was important, I wouldn’t be arguing with you.

Well, at least you concede that you are spouting nonsense.

No, I concede that I don’t mind if you are not following what I’m saying

Sorry hun, you’ve already done it.

It’s clear now, to anyone who reads this, that you are not engaging in a good faith discussion. You know you are wrong, but are unwilling to be intellectually honest.

Thanks for the chat, I will remind you of this, if you attempt to discuss game mechanics with me in the future. Cheers!

I can appreciate a person who acknowledges his position is untenable and is only defending it, because he wants to argue.

Good on you, mate.

I woldn’t compare an encounter in null with a gank in hisec.
The moment you setup for ganking in hs there is no need to tank. It’s a one way ticket. And I also wouldn’t call a gank in hisec, PVP.

I’ll stop you right there, Madam.

After a brief trawl through your posts, I find that you are not well placed to express an opinion in such a way that informed and wholly reasonable adults may extract from it a single sensible notion.

You are a good example of a person who thinks on her feet (as it were) and, sometimes, perhaps, with them.

Ah, I see your confusion.

Well Aiko, what you post in this forum is not exactly original. Always the same script engineered to get some salt from more sensitive ganking victims and boasting your unimpressive farming of careless players.

You got so used to get “grr nerf ganking psychopath grr” as a response to your script that you can’t even notice when someone is just poking fun from your antics anymore.

So, I got that you get past the part my interlocutor claim makes no sense without issue.
Either that or you choose to analyze that single sentence from my discourse without the context of the entertaining back and forth engaged between the parts.

I appreciate that in such long thread there is no shortage of distractions. However is only your fault if you don’t pay enough attention to the nuances of language being used.

Seems to be working.

What would you expect from people that not only don’t put enough effort and thought to avoid being ganked but also let their emotions bring them there to announce their failure?
Of course your script work on them.

But again: don’t be too proud of it.

This is what happens when you try to impress people with your vocabulary. I know it sounds good to you, but how does it sound to others?

You know no ■■■■. English is not my native language and I’m well aware that I screw up the grammar quite often.

Yes Aiko. The later applies to the former.

Wonder how can that be something you need to think about.
