I just reinstalled windows and I dont want to go through each client to set my settings. Is there a way to share all your overview and general setting acrossed all accounts?
Setup your overview as you like and then export it via the Overview settings and load it on your other accounts.
As for settings, do the same: Set up your client and then go into the %Appdata%\Local\CCP folder and there into EVE, then the folder with the installation path to your client and then the folder with your setting’s name from the launcher (settings_default, for instance). There you find .DAT files. Highlight the one with the number of the character that you just used to setup your client (last updated usually or the one with the largest file size). In order for the other char’s files to be there you have to have loaded the client with these chars once, I think. Copy that file and change the number to the other char’s numbers.
If you want to keep changes transferring on one account to others in the future, you have to repeat these steps int he future.
And if you are at it, backup this settings folder into a ZIP archive, and update this archive every now and then. This will help you immensely in the future with restoring settings quickly.
