Is there any plans to close the loop hole that is ganking?

I already gave them in previous post.
I will hire you 1 isk/h to make me gain 1.00001 isk/hour before your wages.
I thus can’t pay you more than 1 isk/h. So the price will never go higher, otherwise I will lose money.

Not going to waste a single second reading a single post of this thread, as the premise is false.

Ganking is not a loop hole.

Ganking is the end result of multiple bad decisions from the person ganked.
Ganking is 100% the fault of the person getting ganked.

Ganking is not the issue. The issue is entitled players coming to a full time PvP sandbox and complaining when it’s not the 110% safe, Hello Kitty Online, WoW clone they want to play.

Seriously people, what is wrong with you. Why do you join games and expend so much effort trying to ruin them. Stop trying to further ■■■■ over one of the only games with real risk of loss. If you want a safer game, go play one, as EvE shouldn’t be.

Here’s the problem:
Anti-tanked freighter carrying over 20x it’s value in hold gets ganked while autopiloting through Nijara.

Years of whining from miners flying antitanked hulks leads to a rebalance of barges and the introduction of dedicated ore holds.

Following the change, mining bots in npc corps have moved to skiffs with orca support, guaranteeing their continued isk flow against all but the most dedicated gank crews.
Still the miners whine, because now their anti-tanked mackinaws are being offed while their pilots are binging netflix.
So CCP decides to turn the orca into the be-all-end-all mining ship with enormous range, cavernous hold, barge like yield, and no feasible way to anti-tank.

Oh look. Here they are on the forums complaining again about the mean ol’ gankers.

Are we sure it’s the suicide gank community that needs to be reigned in here?

That’s not a source. That’s an example. A source is any publication, even some sort of economist’s blog will do, really.

When was the last time mining or industry got a nerf?

You were first talking about an example, and I give you an EXAMPLE (which you ask) of what other element has an impact on the price besides supply and demand. And now you tell me you don’t want an example.

Nice to read you admit you don’t want to understand.

Whats wrong with Thrashers, I go through a lot. please stock Madirmilire

Sometimes I lie awake at night and wonder if i’ll ever be as dedicated to anything as Aaaarrgg is to ganking pods.

It’s easier to not get ganked than it is to set up a gank, so it’s not a loop hole you’re just ignorant.

lmgtfy: eve search

Undocking constitutes consent to PvP 24/7/365/everywhere/everyone and as a result ganking cannot exist because the term implies non-consensual PvP which doesn’t exist in EVE.

Therefore you are wrong.

Every time someone makes billions of isk via ganking it’s because some imbecile chose to make billions of isk available to be ganked.

Industry tax. Last two years.
Upwell 2.0. This month

Both industry nerfs

On topic. The fact ccp listened to the complaints about freighter escort fleets in null and the tedium involves shows that escorts are a joke of an idea.
Base industrial ships off ww2 engineering tanks. Still combat capable but their bonuses are to other areas. Make cargo extenders have stacking penalties so you don’t lose half your cargo by not maxing out all your low slots in favour of fitting a dcu.
And then make the ganking timer more like 2-4 minutes. Longer ranks make things like local tank matter. And increase the chance someone interferes. But also mean fewer gankers are needed to gank someone actually afk. Plus balances the ‘buff’ to industrials

Much like real life, you live and learn. Real life doesn’t hold your hand either. Is anyone going to tell you up-front the response time of the local PD if you rob a bank? No. Simply logging into the game is your consent to PvP, whether it’s in space, or sitting in a station playing the market.

Let’s see, Goons whinged about Drone Assist and that was addressed in 6 months. Years you say, years?!

  • When too many people fly drakes, it got nerfed.
  • Same for Canes.
  • As well as the Ishtar
  • and even Retriever/Procurer (and their tech2) got a 25% nerf. (see below)

So what happens when there too much miner killing - well same, there was a nerf. Because there is obviously an in-balance.

The real culprit was Null-Sec greed. Instead of competition over the moons, they made an agreement. To have isk flow, Hulkageddon 5 was set indefinite. Funded by the Goons. For a bounty of 10mil for an exhumer, the tech2 components of a hulk were worth over 100mil. 90mil easy profit to null-sec war-chests.

As for mining whinging. It’s complete bulldust. From CCP Quant’s figures, 25% of the player base is 1) Carebear and 2) has NO connection to the meta game. So no forums, or blogs or news-sites. So how do these people miraculously communicate the call for nerfs or buffs. Oh wait - they cant. This non-communication was even acknowledged in the recent minutes of the CSM Summit.

Again no. Gankers whined that they could not WTFPWNDSOLOBBQ a tech2 hull with a native resists. CCP listened and nerfed the yield of the mack by 25%. Which happened in Mar 2016. So miners were actually tanking their ships - but the poor gankers got feel sorry that they cannot solo, in a multi-player game.

CCP, graphed mining ships - too many people flying retrievers and macks. Hence the excuse for the nerf. Say - can we have the same “standard” applied to the Destroyer class? Inquiring minds would like to know.

This!

That is the right answer.

If you disagree you are just wrong.

You have to be an imbecile to undock in a loot piñata in any system. Especially if you have played the game long enough to use a freighter.

This too.

If you cannot handle this then logoff and uninstall.

That’s an example of demand.

I not once asked for an example. I asked for a source for your information. If you can’t cite a source, you’re telling me you simply made it up.

Come on dude, you’re the first person I’ve ever met who genuinely seems confused as to what constitutes a source.
