Note: Useful for haulers who haul long distances

When people who (buy low sell high) haul long distances, it would be useful if they could pay a slight fee to reserve the market order, so when they get to where the need to be, its still there…

For example, when you are hauling 250mil worth of stuff 50 jumps, you want to know for sure that you are going to be able to sell it for the price that you saw it. Therefore, you place a reservation on the order so nobody else can sell their item to that person for 30 minutes or so…

(You must have the item in your inventory in order to reserve the market order for the item)

I think most people doing serious trading aren’t dumping stuff on buy orders. I suspect this will likely be used for trolling/market manipulation.

Some form of a Put/Call system…?

I am not up voting the idea put forth as is. If within a region you monitor the order while travelling, and take the risk someone else does not fill the order. Or, place you own sell order and let the other side handle the transportation.

Exploiting a third party app in another region? That is part of the risk.

i agree. all of the content in eve online depends on what others do, and without the risk of others buying / selling the order before you, it wouldnt be much of an enthusiastic game.

Lol. Yeah, i can’t see this being abused at all.

This is the risk you take and also if you’re trying to make isk don’t be selling to buy orders…
