I came back to play this game again and I was pleasantly surprised to find my very first account was still a thing. So I booted it back up and I still have all of my gear, ships, and skills. My question is this; How can I get back into asteroid mining when I can’t even see the asteroids in the belt? Like I made really good money mining for a (now defunct corp). Enough to buy a destroyer and some neat gear for it.
Use a scanner? Or use an overview setting package with a mining tab?

Join a mining corp to help walk you through all the new stuff.
I’m not a miner, so can’t give much advice. However, pretty much all mining is either done in mining anomalies or at moons with refineries (player owned citadels that pull ore up from moons on a set schedule to mine).
