They say there is no honor among thieves, but this is not so in my experience.
Jim Halescott has been a reliable comrade, and a trustworthy ally of the Triglavian war effort. He is a friend to the small gangs and misfits of Pochven, and has been since the early days of the invasion.
I am proud to offer my support to Jim for CSM16 - I’m not only voting for a friend and a comrade in arms, but a person I know to be deeply dedicated to the longevity of New Eden.
I encourage all the independent capsuleers in Pochven and beyond to consider voting for Jim as well - he’s the sort of representative we can trust to bring new ideas to the CSM.
@Jim_Halescott
OK so you got your ppl to flag my post.
At least moderators found the words you told me as innapropriate, as they should, because they are.
But you never came out to deny you said them.
Do you?
Actually, it is. You make an assertion, the burden of proof falls on you. At least that’s how it works in debate and in legal court.
Now, since we’re in the court of public opinion, technically you’re right, its not on you. But that’s because most people don’t know the difference between fact and opinion.
Considering you’re attempting to play the “guilty until proven innocent” game, I’ll believe Jim over you.
Every year I make endorsements for CSM on my blog Eveoganda and I do so based solely on the quality of the candidates I endorse. This year it is even more critical to do so because I am also running for CSM as an independent candidate. My primary concern is the health and continued growth of Low Security and Faction Warfare. But I also strongly believe that the CSM works best when it represents all players and that a voice like Jim’s on the council would represent HS - which often gets ignored. Jim is good people and for that reason, he will have a spot on my ballot this year.
did you listen to the interview? Every CSM member has their own things and ideas that they have to represent to CCP to work on. If its crazy enough, or enough to drive the player base insane then CCP represents it… A lot of things that happen (red dot notification) are from CSM
JIM IS JUST THE KIND OF PLAYER EVE ONLINE NEEDS IN A LEADERSHIP ROLE TO REPRESENT THE COMMUNITY’S INTERESTS IN KEEPING THE GAME FROM DEVOLVING INTO A MASS OF AFK AND BOT MINING ORCA PILOTS THAT NEED NOT BOTHER INTERACTING WITH THE WORLD AROUND THEM BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO FEAR FOR THEIR OWN SAFETY!!!
A considerable number of people, but some of them are as follows:
Brisc Rubal: For obvious reasons (He’s been CSM before and knows wtf he’s doing)
Rixx Javix: For obvious reasons (He’s been CSM before and knows wtf he’s doing)
Mike Azariah: For obvious reasons (He’s been CSM before and knows wtf he’s doing)
Maldavius: Someone who impressed me on his CCP CSM interview with what he had to say
Xeromus Plague: Someone I know whom I believe has the best intentions for the game
