Unfortunately, Anderson Geten was ganked on her alt, and now she is really triggered by anyone who tries to explain ganking or who uses the phrase “bot aspirant”. So she seems to think that she should abuse the forum moderation to hide my posts, since she doesn’t trust people to decide for themselves what to read.
This is how bot aspirancy spreads like a virus, as carebears like Anderson prevent new players from learning the truth.

Yes, I was zoomed in on my ship it was cloaked. Docking request was accepted and it automatically uncloaks as always when the docking request is accepted. I was visible for one or less than a second.

Wrong. You get decloaked before you land as you land around the area of decloak. It takes precisely 1 second to lock and fire.
I agree but I have no control over that. Doesn’t make sense. Apparently a crime had been committed. I was give two kill rights on the perpetrators. I gave them away for free to everyone and they were killed in minutes. However, like I showed from the billboards, the were right back at it moments later and had been doing that, in Jita for days.
If you are going off the animation for thinking you were only visible for a second, grab an alt and see how early you appear on others overviews when you decloak.
The in game animation is only something that happens in the client, but the moment you start to decloak, you are decloaked from the server perspective.
As written above, you can’t be cloaked within 2000m of other items, so it’s likely you were visible to others on grid for more than 1 second.

@ISD_Buldath Could you maybe let people know that there is no need to abuse the forum moderation system and flag every single post like a petulant little child might do, as that creates more work for you and prevents you from investigating actual concerns? Please don’t let bot aspirant carebears destroy this great game!
I would personally like an option to disable the hiding of posts, as its really annoying to have to click to see what was said, just because someone threw a temper tantrum and doesn’t want anyone else to read something they don’t agree with.

Minimum 15 minutes between suicide ganks. They can’t be in space in a ship until the criminal timer runs out, which is 15 minutes.
Jita is well known for this, so best to make an instadock bookmark directly underneath the 4-4 station and an insta-undock for when you are leaving.
That makes it harder to get you, as you’ll always land in immediate docking range of the station and be able to immediately warp off station when you leave.

I never said anything about missiles. I know what hit me with all “guns” at once.
But yes, uncloak at the boundary of docking range. I was still cloaked when I landed at the gate. Then while warping to station I initiated the covert ops cloaking device. I stayed cloaked at Jita for several minutes approach the docking border. What I hear you saying is that I come up to the docking range, a docking request is sent, it is accepted, my ship then declass and there is about one second before I enter the station.
I see nothing wrong with what happened here.

No. You don’t understand. If you need to move to get into docking range that means that you are getting decloaked before you can dock. Hence you can be locked and shot at.

You decloak when you are 2000m from the station.
You can dock when you are 500m from the station.
Your warp to 0 actually can get you up to 2500m from the station.
There are 1500m during which you are decloaked. At 300 m/s base speed that means you can be targeted for 5 whole seconds. That’s enough to target you, scan you, shoot you. The only thing you will notice is the KM before you even hear the hull breach sound.

Yes, I know. That is why I was watching my ship. It was cloaked, at least in my client I was. I could see that it was cloaked. I hit the boundary of lights and request was sent, accepted and ship decloaks. Then . . . blank screen and pod entering Jita plus kill report and kill rights issued.

Probably what you missed in the docking response was part that said “setting course for docking perimeter” or whatever it says.
You can’t be cloaked within 2000m of the station and looking at the client doesn’t match what others see in local, because the in game animation is only for you. The moment you are within 2000m of another object, you are visible to others.
OK, the docking request was sent and accepted when I hit 2000 meters from the stations. I was uncloaked but still had a ways to go before I could dock. It was literally one second before I was killed. I understand that there was enough time to lock and fire all guns at once. So given this, how does insta doc bookmark behave any differently? There will still be 1 to five seconds when you are vulnerable, correct?
