Jita on demand

There are even some people that believe blueprints should be digital in the first place and not needed to be transported around. Basically be as safe as ISK in your wallet. But why is ISK in wallet so safe? Why cant i hack someones wallet? Why can i go to nullsec and my wallet works there just as if im in high sec? And if im a known criminal and or pirate, my wallet/isk account just works as if im not. Lets talk about that maybe

AT ship BPCs are very limited run, very valuable and very rare items. They are among the most valuable items in the game. To be able to ship them at zero risk for pennies would be a mistake imho.

Another such example would be the fabled Megathron Federate Issue or a Gold Magnate.

These have no market history, hence nothing to set a price by in game. So you’d just be paying the volume cost.

Again, edge cases, but it’s yet another example of Malcanis’ Law in action.

I dont really mind, its not like people can envy it, because it works equally for everyone. And so just because the rich/veterans can transport BPCs safely now, for the most part, well, so can the poor/new players. And i have to be honest, a poor/new player will probably benefit the most because they cant afford or fly those blockade runners that you would need otherwise. So maybe in this case Malcanis law does not even apply

No, he probably wants these NPCs to teleport the stuff to the destination, so there is zero risk of them getting ganked, but to keep the shipping corps from going out of business, the NPC teleporting should be so expensive, that it is the same or cheaper to just go buy the thing at the station you were going to teleport it to with the NPC

And if they didn’t teleport the stuff, he would probably want them to have a huge tank so they are almost impossible to gank

And yea, i know that i said “probably” a lot

And some other ships:
Apocalypse Imperial Issue
Armageddon Imperial Issue
Tempest Tribal Issue
Raven State Issue
And the Opux Luxury Yacht

First of all noone is ganking shipments below a certain value, so forcing people to to transport stuff around under this threshold is just dumb?

But lets put some numbers on the table just for fun. 8% flat fee for shipping something, and then another 1% for each jump? This all goes into the ISK sink btw. PLUS the time to deliver is 1 minute per jump.

So if you ordered stuff for 100M the fee would be at 8M+1M for each jump and 1 minute delivery time per jump. At a certain point RFF becomes cheaper but maybe not faster.

Hey man, if your Idea makes the stuff that is transported to another station untouchable for other players during the transfer, then it is a bad idea. Because moving goods from one station to another is meant to be risky. Valuable freights is intentionally a target for destruction and loot so others can play as pirates in this game, searching for lucrative targets and blowing them up if they can catch them.

Uncatchable “magic” teleporting NPC transport that just cost ISK would remove this opportunity for player interaction and is therefore bad for the game. Get that!

Maybe the fee should be “negotiable” and with new skill you can reduce the flat fee perhaps to 5% and the fee for each jump can be reduced to 0.5% maybe.

noone is ganking stuff with value under a certain threshold. so it makes no sense to force people to transport stuff around that will never ever get ganked in the first place?

You are telling me i have to spend time to go to Jita and back just for a few modules worth maybe 20M because it enhances the game somehow. That i dont think make sense.

Most people that get ganked have over 200M in cargo afaik and they use autopilot, they are basically greedy and lazy for most part and would’nt use the NPC shipping system anyway because why pay money to have something shipped when you can just do it yourself for free on autopilot while afk. Do you know what i mean?

Items in the proposed NPC shipping system should have a 100% chance to arrive otherwise it will be unattractive to use. However NPC freighters and haulers will spawn in the world now and can be attacked, and if it happens, and they are destroyed then the time it takes for items in the NPC shipping system to arrive is increased temporarily. “We are sorry, there has been a delay”. This adds risks in that you may have to wait longer than expected for the item(s) to arrive and forces the player to decide whether that risk is worth it for him. Why would anyone attack NPC haulers? They will not drop items that players are shipping. But maybe there will be new Gurista missions to go and kill these haulers. Maybe Guristas will just pay bounties to kill them. Or maybe none of this is needed because RFF will be disrupting and causing delays in the NPC shipping system to make their own services more attractive.

There are people that just gank other people for the fun of it. Or just to punish them for using the Autopilot. And they are free to do so, if you are piloting a Spaceship and it’s hull is the only thing that protects you from the cold freezing death, you better pay attention to badguys who might want to put holes into that hull for the fun of seeing our frozen corpse ending up in some trophy container.

Plan your shopping trips better? Fly something else until you can get a delivery from redfrog?

To reiterate, i dislike the concept you’re proposing.

Of course the gig will be up sooner or later. That is the nature of the universe.

Your idea is still bad, and your true intentions still obvious.

They already can. By paying Red Frog.

Why would I frown? Unlike you, the Prophet doesn’t have trouble moving cargo safely on their own.

Because that isn’t what New Eden is. As I said sirrah, retirement in Stardew is more your speed.

As it should be. You see how the experience gave you a story and a memory? You’d have neither with your magical elf transport.

Again, more proof life in New Eden is not for you.

Finally you admit your real intentions. And you can. Easily. Just become a better pilot. Or don’t.

Of course it will, and you know it.

Yes it does.

Hence why they, and you, deserve to lose your property and die screaming in space.

Another super stupid idea of yours. I wonder why you are so dedicated to spamming forum with your terrible ideas provided that:

  • CCP doesn’t give a ■■■■ about any of ours ideas and you would have to be blind to not see that
  • all your ideas were heavily and rightfully criticized, you gained almost no support for your ideas except the ideas that would make EVE free of non-consensual PvP (of course)

Thank you for your comment

It is possible that this feature can lead to more ganking opportunities because with it players can consolidate items within systems for low cost and then move them long distance in bulk themselves to save money. It depends on how the fee to use system is structured. But if it was structured with for example an 8% flat fee + 1% for each jump, then moving lots of value longer distance may be preferable to do manually. And thats where the ganking potential is.

But if not you are still going to have people who are taking the risk to move 500M or more in haulers to save the money it would cost to get NPCs to do it.

Ok, lets do it! I would like to add in an NPC-bribe system. I pay a small fee to the station owner (for example Jita Trade Hub) and everytime someone uses your system to have NPCs deliver goods from Jita to Station X, I get a message how much he has paid. And if I pay the NPCs more, they will take the goods to me on Station Y instead. That woud be fantastic, not? Even more ISK sink! Risks! Fun! Convenience! You will totally like it for sure!

Few people would probably use the system then and there would be near 0 isk sink or UX improvement
