They said we stay docked up a LOT in Eve. So… we don’t really play Eve.
That’s why you getting a new shiney dock.
Their data shows what we do, so they deliver on what the data says.

Life on autopilot, that doesnt end well.
Oh, then maybe they should add some exciting gameplay elements… Rewamping ratting, missions, etc? Making group play to be more profitable than doing things alone, etc. Giving high level goals to alliances, making a solution to new alliances can be born and can have space. Giving some hint what they want to do with EVE in general…
Agreed, The amount of effort put in to the NPE is the stupidest decision i have ever seen in any game. I mean in 2012 when we had a average of 50000+ players online, there was no hand holding and NPE crap, but there was gameplay, and that brought in new players in droves. And CCP have doubled down on this NPE thing year after year, and the players have dwindled Year after year. But CCP knows best thats why the game is tanking.
Perhaps they focusing on replacing the old bitter vets who are resistent to change, they concentrate on new players who will accept change. It is clear they want to move forward to match the technology of the new markets.
Possibly, But its like removing the foundations of a building, and rebuilding it out of straw, fast and easy, but when times get tough. it crumbles.
2003 isn’t coming back, that’s the point, the market’s changed a lot since then.
No person in this game has a hope in hell of owning a titan anymore, so there’s nothing to aspire to. unless you pay real money for it , then you will lose it in first battle because you did not understand how to use it. (because you paid real cash for a ship that needs real experience to keep alive) its just a CCP cash grab that works on idiots.
But they don’t need to dumb down the game to be a Fortnite or some other idiot stuff. There are enough smart people who like play games like EVE. They just loosing them since 10 years constantly, and they strive to get complete new dumb people instead of getting back and gather people who likes this kind of games.
Also there is no meaning to gather new players if there is no vision and no direction. They want to make an instant arena shoother from EVE, that won’t be succesful ever. The thing that is missing in EVE is player impact. And without it, it’s just meaningless.
never wanted a titan in the first place. and many others are ok with not having a titan. some people actually can PvP in subcaps believe it or not and its tons of fun.
It was quite funny watching Hilmar present the slide about the difference in players and CCP staff over the last few years.
He was presenting as a good thing that CCP has a huge staff turnover and that EVE Online can’t retain players.
You and I can agree then that Hello Kitty skins is the wrong answer for eve online.
I Agree Daoden, Ive never had or wanted a titan, I use cruisers and frigates, which is the gameplay i like, but after you do that for 18 years it gets boring and you want something more. and without something to aim for it just pointless. the Endgame was meant to be a Titan, but those who did not want a Titan, the game stops after you get a bunch of battleships or even caps. and then Its a dead end game play, with rinse and repeat, special events. eve has not evolved in years.
I Love how he pointed out all the new things eve had attempted, and 80% of them were complete failures, how thick is this guy.
And yet you’re using his product.
Perhaps the most shocking thing about the keynote was that they were allowed Delve to mine from 2017 to 2020, while knowing that more than a quarter of all the ore in the galaxy mined was produced by them alone, and they did nothing about it for three years.
CSM did something?
only for 4 more months then im free, All my accounts are canceled as are all my m8s. good times ahead.
You’re still using his product, and you probably will continue to use the forums, also his product.
