When you nerf jump freighters you make null sec less attractive
lol.. no..
No, they were too safe previously. I feel sorry for those that lost them without realising but that is how things go with game changes. Whenever I take a break and return I ask people I know what has changed as well as read up on things. I have missed a few things, but the lancer dreads was one I picked up on.
How do you know JFs were/are too safe? Genuinely curious
It would be if it were not infested with F1 Monkeys that litter the place with used bubbles.
Why?
Because there was no way to lose one of them if you played well.
This means they were too safe.
I realise this is a hard concept to get for someone who comes with suggestions like âadd a new mid slot item that allows every hauler to align within 2 secondsâ for near-total hauler invulnerability, but it is actually bad for the game when certain ships cannot be killed.
It is a major hit for even wealthy players.
@Gerard_Amatin answered the reason why, they were too safe, if you did it right there was no risk and they were totally safe. I explained above what was required to kill them previously, it required a pilot error. That is it.
arenât you suppose to leave the game ?
Except you canât have a Lancer Dreadnought in hisec.
A good jf pilot was basically unkillable.
With an emergency exit cyno ready to go, you could hold your gate cloak, light the cyno, decloak and jump on the same server tick.
About the only serious danger they faced was a kickout station in 0.0, which no savvy jf pilot would ever use.
