Launcher won't launch (fixed)

I briefly get the CCP logo splashscreen followed by nothing. The evelauncher process appears for a second or 2 then disappears.

I checked the logfile with loglite (found it in the EVE folder) but I don’t even know how much that says about anything. Either way, there were no apparent errors.

Will I lose my settings if I reinstall everything? I hope not cause I already had to redo most of it when the update broke part of the UI not so long ago.
