Whether or not people know the existing bits:
- You can control-click on a facility to start making a link.
- When decommissioning facilities, you click on a facility, then go to the decommission tab, then you can hit Enter on the keyboard instead of clicking Proceed to delete the facility.
It’d be nice to see a few additions here:
- Alt-rightclick (or control-C) to copy the schematic, as well as input and output routes (read: sources and destinations) from a facility.
- Alt-leftclick (or control-V) to paste the schematic, as well as input and output routes.
- Holding shift and not hovering on a facility, then hold left click to create a bounding / selection box.
- Holding shift and hovering on a facility, left clicking then adds or removes a facility from the selection.
- Let the Delete key decommission a facility, without first needing to go to the decommission tab on a selection (whether you clicked one facility, or have a selection box active).
- Let Q (configurable in shortcuts) act as a pipette. If hovering over a facility, then let the cursor hold that facility.
- Let control-Enter be a shortcut to submit the changes to the colony.
- Just like you can route an output, allow an expected input to be routed instead of the input needing to be present in a storage, launchpad or extractor.
- It would be nice to be able to rename launchpads such that, in space, you don’t need to keep notes on what resource has to be transferred to what launchpad.
This would make having production planets a lot easier, just update one facility and copy it to others, or have an easy way to multi-delete facilities (instead of 3 clicks (or two click and Enter) for each individual facility. Yes you can decommission an entire colony, but that means bringing a whole new command center to it. And that is even less profitable.
