Note: Useful to ease and speed up the change process without having to destroy all facilities and rebuild with a new setup.
Although the template mechanic makes installing and running PI far much easier, it would be great to be able to switch schematics on several facilities or all in one go by, for example, getting a popup window asking if we want the change to happen “only to this faciliy”, “to all” or “to some” and, while choosing “to some”, selecting the facilities where we want the change to happen.
You set it up and it prints isk until you change it, and you want to remove the setup portion of the process?
Not sure to understand what you really encompass when you write “remove the setup portion of the process”.
I don’t want to remove the setup process of defining which elements (launchpad, ECU, command center, factory, links) as well as schematics I need and where to install each of them.
I don’t want to remove the templates mechanics which is really useful.
I just want to be able to change the schematics in some or all factories when I need it without having to
- either destroy a complete setup and rebuild a new one using a template with the right schematics that I would have saved before
- or changing the schematics in each factory one by one …
