Like giving groups of skills a label: “Heretic basics”, “Fleet boosts”, “All mining crystals”, and then you can move them around together?
I order my skill queue that way, but sometimes i decide i need some of these groups earlier and it indeed is tedious to move them all manually. Especially if there are prerequisite skills too.

Or do you mean just shift+click to select them and move them together?

You can group skills already in the queue by creating a skill plan (hat off to you @CCP guys) and adding milestones to it (though I have never managed to add one as plus sign in the center does nothing but displays animation :confused: ). It would be more work (dev-wise ) to actually group them in a queue like in a collapsible folder (or label or whatever) and it would become something more than just a QoL improvement :stuck_out_tongue:

Once you create the skill plan and strat training, all the skills in that plan are added to the end together in an order defined by the plan and then you have to reposition them one by one if you want to change precedence.

Suggestion: Display an additional warning when players are about to self-destruct a pod with active implants/remotely destroying a jumpclone with implants

100(0)s of players are deathcloning everyday, some even multiple times. Sometimes it has to happen quick so they are in a rush to get out of their implants. That might lead to the jumpclone jump cancel one day, if the player tries to undock to fast or they simply forget to change clones. Sure, you can always doublecheck but in my opinion it is only a matter of time unfortunatly till the pilot makes an accidental, crucial mistake. So i thought an additional warning displayed if you are about to dust a pod with active implants couldnt hurt and even assist the playerbase with a less stressful transition into a “new life” :slight_smile: Same could apply to the remotly destruction of jumpclones with containing implants.

Suggestion: CRAB Beacon rats give security status

Currently CRAB beacons don’t seem to give security status even though the rogue drone’s have bounties on them. This is probably an oversight but it would be an added incentive to run them (not to mention a bug fix probably) if the rats that were dealt with in the sites gave security status like normal NPC’s do when they’re destroyed.

I just want to say “Thanks” to whoever fixed search in the NES, I can finally search for stuff I want to buy instead of scrolling through dozens of pages looking for it.

Suggestion: Add an option to toggle an item to a “saved, valuable” state when it is in a players inventory to prevent trade/sale/destruction/scrap

There’s so much stuff, I am buying as many hanger crates as possible, but its really hard to keep track of. I see there are highlights on items already implemented for example “New item In Inventory” adds a highlight around an item. Any possible way to tag an item to a “Save, important” state? It gets a phatty purple drop epic highlight around it.

As you have written already you use station containers for sorting stuff. You haven’t written if you use container configuration options, so here goes:

  1. RMB container → Configure container
  2. Check Locked option and click OK

  3. now, RMB container again → Set name → Put whatever deterring name you like (start with underscore maybe to make it top) :smiley:

Your stuff should be safe from your sloppiness now :stuck_out_tongue:

That works for sorting into containers, but it doesn’t apply to items in my inventory such as ammunition types or armor hardeners, nanite paste, filaments ect. And I don’t think I can put a container in my hold, load the container with ammo/items and be able to reload/use them from the container.
After looting/salvaging a sight, the inventory just explodes.
But thank you for the tip.

I thought you had problems with items trashed/sold accidentally from your hangar :thinking: The container I described is this it would rather not fit into regular ship :smiley: You need bigger ship…

Edit: you can also lock individual items in station container, also from item’s RMB popup menu

Suggestions: Make the Mission cards in the Opportunities window draggable and linkable in chats.

Note: This would help a lot for sharing mission info with other players to help new players or for general cooperation, and it would actually make this new mess of a UI useful and better.

Can we have an extra button next to the View Planetary Command Centre icon which will automatically take you to each object in your Planet Industry.

Sometimes it is hard finding all your objects on the planet because they are so small.

This button would take you to each object on the planet which you own one by one with every click.

Feature Suggestion: Allow players to move Multiple skills (contiguous selection only) at same time up or down in the queue?

Many times i need to move a group of skills instead of just one. this gets real tedious to do.

I realize this may be more complex than moving one skill due to the Prerequisite Checking, but i don’t think its impossible. PLEASE?

While a cool idea, you may want to edit your post to reflect how others have been typing it out, or read the OP.

Ccp karkur doesnt read this thread per se, but has an algorithm set up to read certain formats

Suggestion: Show corpse names in contracts

I just wanted to re-ask for this little QoL that was already asked 5 years ago. But since it was asked in different format it might has been overlooked.

Generally corpses are named when seen in assets browsers (cargo, hangars, containers etc). But the names disappear from contract item list :confused: It just shows type description and not item description.

Suggestion: A second Orbit button in the “Selected Item” in-space window
Keywords: UI, Selected item
Note: Less manual input, more fluent in-space gameplay.

At the moment, there is one Orbit button in Selected Item box in space. Introducing another button of the same type which can have its own default Orbit at value should provide more fluent gameplay. For example: the ability to quickly switch between predefined short and long orbit values, without having to open another window and type the number.

You might want to join the “new launcher” channel on discord and make this suggestion, they’re actively soliciting feedback there.

Suggestion: Add more useful tags to structures in Overview and space
Keywords: UI, Overview
Note: “Home station” tag was a very good addition, why not expand it a bit more.

For example: a tag which marks that your corporation has an office in that station.
