So if you enter something wrong, the game remembers it in autocomplete. You can only delete all your autocomplete entires, not individually. Worse, the top of the autocomplete is not the more recent item, but the first one. So for example, if you searched “Osmno” and then “Osmon” later, the game prefers “Osmno” for the top of the autocomplete list instead of the most recent. The top of the list should be the most recent since that is the most likely to be correct. If I searched “Osmon” then “Osmno” “Osmeg” “Osmmon” and finally “Osmon,” “Osmon” is the first entry made in “Osm” but it is alsot the most recent search, so it should still take priority.
Suggestion: The Notification widget panel should open what it is notifying me of.
Keywords: UI, widget, notification, mail, communication
Note: When it says “X unread mails”, it should open the Mail tab in the Mail window, not the Communication tab.
This is more a bug fix than a feature, but hey. If I had opened the Mail window in the communication tab on Char A on an account, this notification does not open the Mail tab on Char B. Instead, it opens the Mail window in the Communication tab. This adds unnecessary clicks and “cognitive overload”.
Keywords: ui, compare
Note: I use the horizontal view in the compare UI because it is more compact and readable, with the update it lost 2 important features:
A scrollbar to scroll right if there’s too many columns
The ability to select and delete multiple lines at once, currently you can select more than one, but the right-click menu->delete only removes on the one that was clicked
Anyone have screenshots of this? I know it happened but I’d like to immortalize this epic fail. I think a different new player tutorial also got players killed by an NPC gate camp too.
Suggestion: See how many drones are assigned to people on watchlist
Keywords: UI, Drones
Note: Trying to assign drones to people can be painful with the low amount of drones allowed
Keywords: ui, inventory
Note: Sometimes (might be fixed as of 2025-06-25?) the selected item doesn’t always remain highlighted while the split dialog is visible. Also the current splitting dialog text is a bit weird.
Please add a setting to convert the roman numerals used for minerals and asteroid belts to normal numerals, it is much easier to read and understand. Consider making it the default as well.
Suggestion: Add a “subcription-system” for the ingame calendar
Keywords: ui, fleet, community, npsi
Note: add some sort of subscription-system for communities to automatically add events to the ingame-calendar outside of corps or alliances. Community groups such as Spectre Fleet, Fun Inc. or Pando could manage their fleets in-game alongside npsi.rocks or their own sites, and players who have subscribed could view these fleets directly in their in-game calendar.
