If you remove local in hisec you will give a large advantage to freighter gankers who already have enough advantages as it is. There are no automated intel bots in hisec and there are no bots that require it. Also hisec is not exactly competing in terms of over ratting and over production. But if it is done purely out of spite then feel free.

There is an active group of players that provide intel in a chat channel, because scrubs come into the space to wreak havoc…and do so successfully

First, I’m hardly naive. This is not an ‘attack’ on any play style. This is CCP attempting to figure out how people in their game react to changes. This is a change what was easy to make, will be easy to undo, will not require any new coded systems in the game, and which has been discussed for a long time. That makes it an excellent first choice for their testing regimen.
As for who the testing effects… that’s one of the things they’re gathering data on, now isn’t it? During this change, are people who normally play in HS/LS trying out null? Are they roaming? Are people in null moving to empire? We don’t know. Hopefully though, in a couple more weeks, CCP will know. They’ll have usable data they can begin to make comparisons with.
2 big reasons I can think of:
First: CCP says 70% of players never leave highsec. That means null is someplace they can disrupt without too much risk of tanking the game.
Second: Because it’s null. If you’re going to make someplace more dangerous, this should be it. And let’s face it, we adapt. Life in null is a never-ending sequence of adapting. We adapt to mechanics changes, to the shifting fleet meta, to political realities… adapting is kind of our strong suit. We’ve already adapted here, too: Be on comms. Be in the defense fleet or able to jump into it quick. Don’t be AFK.
Simple, common-sense adaptations.
We’re also capable of replying to a single post without using 3 freaking replies. That’s an adaptation you should pick up on. Especially since you’re now about to do it again. Use the damned ‘edit’ button to add more crap. This isn’t jabber. Converse like a goddamned adult, not a half-dead lemur.

I did not se an overwhelming group of high sec pub lords waiting on the borders of Null, like the Oklahoma land rush, to take advantage of the outage…NO they just sit in high sec saying things like…Oh that’s fair…FU you have lived fair your whole existence in the game. You have maybe experienced loss in a burn Jita…(which you should). but never again. And you have never “earned” anything…

You are throwing a tantrum after 1 week of testing. No, that is not reasonable. CCP has not said this will be permanent. This change does not meaningfully harm PvE activities in the area you live in. It’s fine to not like the change. It’s fine to express that you don’t like the change. But carrying on like a petulant child, screaming ‘FU’ left and right, accusing CCP of implementing some ‘ultimate solution’ when they very clearly haven’t… it just makes you come across as an idiot.
