Local Comms Blackout - Discussion Thread - Part Deux!

I have to agree with the post, “If you liked the Blackout, move to Worm Hole Space!”

WH has more risk and less rewards. EvE is down to Null or alpha and neither are worth paying for.

All the blackout does is extend game play options…again.

As far as botters, I have personaly watched a player run 6 rorquals or 6 Hulks at the same time, you know what he risked more for his reward. If you are a low life ganker, your prey’s odds are better!

Low life ganker?

What does this mean?

The flow of salt in epic…

No sorry after the display Null put on, there is no salt display more epic.

That was the a whine the likes never seen before in EvEs history.

So no null doesn’t get to talk about salt now. You are the games primary producers.

That doesn’t mean anything. What did you mean by low life ganker? What about ganking is a “low life” activity?

So you’re a cockroach?

Blackout was a small plaster on a big wound, they will have to make Capitals die like flies eventually. Using other means than blackout.

this from the people who gave us Stealth Bombers that couldn’t warp cloaked! strangely you expected something else.

keep the blackout and reverse the stupid cyno decision or create a new cruiser hull specifically for standard cynos rather than forcing the little guys to jeopardise a 300 mill T2 hull.

I used to make what I called a “Heavy Cyno” which was a Maller with 3 EANM and 2 1600mm plates and a DCU in the lows and a scram and 2 webs in the mids with small auto cannons and a neut and a cyno in the highs. IIRC it had an ehp of 150k so CCP could do it as they have created several niche ships in the past.

a few years a go CCP tried to get the folks in empire to spread their wings and go south of the fence and expand into low and null. now the little guys and small corps are getting penalised for doing what CCP wanted by creating a logistical nightmare on top of jump fatigue and other issues.

CCP have said in the past that the regretted the introduction of capital ships. the constant nerds that they have faced over the years proves this, particularly when you look at carriers.

remote drone assistance, now you have to be on grid unlike the good old days of the ginger magician in ammake. then there is jump fatigue and range reductions and then the drones themselves were nerfed over a year ago, not to mention that super carriers can’t be docked in stations.

simply put, it was never in CCP’s plan to have so many capital combat ships in the game

Yeah that’s true, but the messed up thing about is they also ran the ‘Skilling Spree’ event during the Blackout which helped boost log in numbers.

It means to me someone who roles into a mining belt and kills a covetor and then boast his kill. Why not just ask for Eve to give you a space type kiddy pool so that you can shoot all the defenceless ships you can.
You want to claim a kill, roll into a belt harrass the miners and wait for the defence response then kill them. Then you may hold up your man hood so that it may not be seen as so cheap!
But most gankers in null run at the first sign if actual resistance unless they have a 100 man Stuka Fleet in hiding. At least when goons would gank a ming op, they would do it in hisec and be damned Empire!

“A stitch in time saves nine.”

Making 1 stitch, at an early enough time and in a proactive enough way, saves us from having to make 9 stitches later.

Maybe this was the 1 stitch. What are the 9?

Rofl most null players are huge carebears killing them is mundane and easy. The game writ large is like 90% krabs and 9% pvpers with 1% of the population being actual leadership material. Maybe you need a new home if you’re scared of getting bombed.

It will probably be another nail in the coffin for the game if CCP rolls back Blackout, IMO.
For many reasons.

No…look at the f—ing data. The money supply for 2019 has shrunk…for the whole year so far.

The various price indices are showing little to no inflation.

Look at the f—ing data.

I have a question to all who shared opinions with me:

Did I just got my deserved war?

Or you don’t agree the Null borders will soon become the face of chaos?

Hehe…

Let’s game mofos!

That has nothing to do with BO. It has more to do with how cozy the alliances and coalitions are with each other.
