I’m merely a step from walking away from this game because of BO. After this week or so, I actually want to thank ccp for that, 13 years since start, geez. Have fun guys o7
Which was designed to piss people off, yes. Worked far better than intended, didn’t it?
Ok, first, if you’re gonna use the word, learn which word you want. (That’s not calling you dumb, that’s not dumping on you, it’s not anything of the sort. Homophones exist, and speech is a mostly oral tradition even now, so people learn things wrong. It’s why you get people saying crap like ‘for all intensive purposes’ when what they mean is ‘for all intents and purposes’, or ‘risk adverse’ when they wanted ‘risk averse’. They just don’t know any better.)
Second, diplomacy’s definitely a thing you have to learn if you’re going to live in null. What of it? A small group shouldn’t start off by saying ‘hey, there’s 50 of us, let’s go take space from Pandemic Horde’. That’s just… stupid, you know?
The big groups might attack a small group, at least in terms of roaming gangs or something. But we all remember RAZOR basically killing off IRC for a number of years by being idiots and pushing too hard. Nobody wants that. It’s in our interests to make sure the little guys, once established, aren’t squished.
Really? So you have the advantage of not having to pay rent? You have the advantage of not having to do what the landlord says?
This is conflating rental empires with other issues facing null, like the whole ‘there’s no reason to risk losing a fight’ problem. The biggest difference there is: the guys deciding they don’t need to risk it? They’re doing that based on a clear-eyed assessment of their situation.
Miz is referencing the Imperium’s Viceroy Program, where we made plans to look for small groups to set up as client states in Cloud Ring, back in 2015. We never actually put it in place, and half the point of it really was ‘let’s see who we can make mad with this’, but then the SMA/IWI thing spiraled into the MBC’s formation and Lemba got all butthurt that nobody listened to him tell us something was going to do what it was supposed to do, and well, 2016 kinda put the kibosh on the Viceroy thing, you know?
Free XP, cheap skins. What else will the CCP go to save the players? And everything is simple. Return the locale to nullsec and the players will return. there will be an influx of dollars and plexes - there will be a game
and further. where are the answers of agents of the CCP. someone saw at least one answer. or are they silent as a government?
CCP and their wards respond to the players. don’t forget about us
Kulak is a wealthy/prosperious farmer. So, no.
If you say so.
Now, if you use profanity - ССР answer?
probably dont even bother reading any of the comments
ауу ССР серые кабаки отвечайте игрокам. Почему молчите звери дикие? нечего сказать чтоли?
When a sentence starts with I think of course it is a theory.
Also no nothing to do with spite. Why would I spend hundreds of dollars on spite. This is about what I think is better for the game in the long run and that is no local in Null.
As to HTFU, I am just returning the advice so many null sec players gave so many thousands of Hi-Sec miners and Industrialists when they were being blown out of the sky by Null sec alts.
So as I said if you cannot deal with the fact that Null is no longer that safe, there is always hi-sec.
If you dont want any local, go to WH space.
As far as what is better for the game, we will see how many pilots will still be around if CCP continues its dumb ways. My personal opinion: not many. the whole game will become a ghost town.
You ever get tired of repeating yourself?
never
Easy;
You can now sneak into areas you couldn’t before due local instantly showing you as red.
You can PVE and gankers have to scan you down, and ether jump to each location in map to find you, or launch combat probes to get your location. Ether way shows on DScan, and provides you with warning of enemy in system.
Enemy now have to guard their systems and have more active members to respond to anyone entering they systems.
Ninja mining/rat hunting, etc…
Enemy now can possibly launch assaults on home systems if defender not active.
I’m sure others can add to the above.
Why?
Game used to be the most challenging in WH, HS, LS, and easy mode NS.
Now its WH, NS, HS, LS.
Wasn’t it nullsec corps complaining about how boring nullsec has become?
As i see it, nullsec has become more fun.
Sure AFK miners and bots want the old easy gameplay with no challenges, just easy isk mining environment.
If you fly out to do PVE in the lowest security regions and have next to no threats, then there’s something wrong with the game, if you have s higher survival rate than the carebear highsec players you know there’s something out of balance.
If you want local and easy mode relocate to lowsec.
It’ll be safer than highsec and a lot easier than the nullsec is now, reminds me of the old nullsec before the mega corp titan shields.
That’s pretty much it, the null-bear lifestyle is still viable but has been relocated to low-sec, got a nerf with no more endlessly spawning anomalies, but rorqual mining will still work in low.
If you want endless anomalies: it’s now slightly riskier.
Want the very best ore, take more risk.
Balance of risk vs reward has been partially restored.
Crying nullbears just can’t seem to accept that the game got harder for them for once.
Since the BO, I haven’t logged in much on my accounts. I went from an active daily player to logging in 2x in the last 2 weeks for about 5 minutes each time.
I think this is it for me, I’m debating on unsubscribing, but I don’t know what is to come? Will they put it back and then I will lose all the potential SP while my characters sit idle?
Seems I have no interest anymore in the game. It’s a shame too, this game was great. I realize some are enjoying the game and perhaps I am the minority here, but I guess its farewell.
The game is just so lonely now. Feels empty and I play this game to be surrounded by others, not to sit alone. I can do that all by myself on my couch.
Interesting, maybe CCP did a stealth game change and activated standings for Rogue Drones, Drifters and Triglavians. I’ll have to check my Interactions page again.
As someone who has done null sec with alliances…I will tell you, the number one way of communication is in fact…Not local.
How much communication were you doing via Local, vs Corp, or Alliance, or player-made channels between friends or people with similar interests? Does TEST use only in-game communications systems?
