Yep many ship options other than VNI and many can be run well outside of point range for neuts landing on anoms making giving them reasonable risk vs reward.
Donāt understand the lonely partā just about every major group in the game has voice communications, fleets, intel channels, forums or out of game places to trade pictures and such of some sort, and itās far from usual for non-allies to trade jabs in local once engaged in combat even with the black out.
If there is a target in a green anom and they are not paying attention, isnāt that just part of a balanced risk vs reward?

A target at a green anom is really low skill hunting 101 even if they are paying attention.
If they are at a red you have to drop probes off d-scan, set them 15au above the area where the anom is, scan once to get a a partial hit, then drop down close (where they can be seen) to get a hit & move off before they are actually seen - all dependent on experience and scanning skills .
Part hunter skill, part hunter/target luck, part hunted observation skills.

If thereās no risk for the hunter, the bear has put zero effort into safeguarding themselves and frankly deserves whatever they get. Why is it that bears insist that they shouldnāt have to put the slightest effort into maintaining their own safety? Iāll never understand this. Itās damn near the only thing that makes half the gameplay of Eve worthwhile, figuring out how to thwart other people from screwing ya.

I see, you lack a basic understanding of the game mechanics related to scanner probes:
If you have a skill level of 5 in Astrometric Pinpointing @16au scan range there is a maximum deviation of 4au on a signature.
Of course this will probably mean nothing to you, as prey for the hunter, you just need to keep hitting d-scan and hope for the best.
If you are a hunter I suggest you keep running in small fleets & drop on something some one else has found & pointed or cynoād you onto .

Annoy hunters people, Spam those Warp stabs, call in those reinforcements promptly , keep aligned , keep a flight of Jamming Drones in your bay to make things interesting, a Jammer or 2 can make them annoyed , hmmmm oh yeah swap out that VNI for the Domi.
A whole bunch of dead hunters all across New Eden might disagree.

Oh please, use lots of stabs, We want to see a huge increase in the failed scramble attempts Vs stabbed ship statistic.
If itās high enough it may encourage them to take Hilmarās suggestion that fitting a stab will prevent automatic drone aggression.
Lots of dev provided suggestions to pick from: Making them active modules, only allowing a single stab or stacking penalties - to get 2 points of stab you would need 3 WCS. Disallowing their use by stab bonused ships, increased cap use for prop mods per WCS etc etc ā¦ lots of ideas that just need an excuse to get pushed into the next scrum cycle.
ECM drones are already in their sights - maybe only ECM bonused ships should be able to use them after the huge nerf to ECM they recieved.

I never set my drones to auto any way well sorry W Stabs are really the only protection most Freighters get, sounds like to me they just want to please the PVP crowd more and more and be damned for the thought of trying to evade.
And with this blackout can you blame people for fitting them more then ever.
ECM drones are literally the only useful ecm at this time.

Well I donāt see many people flying EWAR boats anymore that is a fleet thing, so yes drones get used more lately.

even in fleets ECM is only useful against logi. Drone are the only actually useful jams anymore.
