No, it’s because awoxers can sidle right up next to you as a blue (or green) in both situations. DBRB’s done it to a bunch of highsec guys as well as null guys. Awoxers are universally harder to spot, and the existence or lack of local is completely irrelevant to their actions.
To bad we cannot destroy those CONCORD gates…fair but cruel.
Come now, his point is perfectly clear and fair.
… he’s such a horrible excuse for a sopho… sapi… creature that anyone who’s blue/green and still approaches is clearly only after one thing. The neut warping in might just be ignorant of it.
Perfectly reasonable. Stop being difficult.
Did they (ccp) remove the blackout?
Well, unlike you, I am not biased by myths. I admit that if you are not AFK you can detect hostiles with local . Its still is not perfect, as you have to watch and report the intruder.
Not really, I’m fortunate enough to be one of the smarter ones and haven’t lost anything since the blackout, but the opportunities to make isk at this point aren’t anywhere near the reward.
If I make 30 mil ticks, that’s 22hrs of rating just to replace my carrier if I lose it. At 30-45 minutes intervals that you can actually go out and rat spread out, as again without bosons you spend most of your time pvping, that’s pretty close to a month to have it just pay for itself… That’s not balanced at all, especially since the changes of me losing it significantly increase over the course of that month of 30-45 minute intervals. For me I sub so it’s not the end of the world but with that metric you can kiss plexing any extra accounts goodbye…
Plus I’m actually a degree safer in my carrier rating (despite the slow align and flight times) because I actually have a chance of living long enough to get some support (assuming enough people are online at the time) I can say for sure those in sub caps are no where near as fortunate, and as someone mentioned before when all you have to do is risk a 20-60mil ship to tackle someone, the pvpers risk is ridiculously low…
I mean they’ve been arguing about cloaky camping since its inception too, but they have no desire to change that either.
Like I said if you want balance you have to create risk for the people roaming through space just as much as those operating in it, and right now given the risk of an af gang on an individual level (maybe 30-70mil tops) vs the reward of killing 200-700 mil ships where you can be fast enough to get away and smart enough to scout isn’t balanced at all. Especially when you factor in nullified ships that are damn near impossible to stop and can fit cynos if escalation is necessary…
The clearly, then you as a player need to stop flying 200-700 million isk ships if you don’t know how to ward off 30-70 million isk ships.
Then you clearly don’t live in null (and you ignored the part where I said I haven’t died lol) if you think it’s a rock paper scissors of let me just avoid them… Lol
Again I’m speaking from a point of having both been in many af gangs since the blackout as well as having done blops which similar case a 20-60 mil investment for the tackle ship…
When you can provide some anecdotal experience of your time with the blackout I’ll be sure though to take what you say for more then a grain of salt…
I wouldn’t be so quick to judge, I’ve lived and been to many sections across Eve, I have set up and lost transports, pvp ships, and miners. I care very little for the personal attacks. If you are an area without back up, don’t bring something that requires support to function.
Well, if you want anecdotal evidence, much like your’s. Here you go:
So, I’ll repeat what I’ve said:
“I’ve lived” (past tense) this isn’t a personal attack, this is to point out that you, just like Miz and so many others on here have an opinion but don’t have any experience in what you’re talking about. You all, just like the devs, like to use the "Well I imagine based on my experience . . . . . " while only seeing the tip of the iceberg.
You think because of some experience in the past that gives you insight into how the changes are actually working and just like many of the changes the Dev’s have done with that logic you can’t see the real substance of the iceberg under the water because you’re not actually engaging in the content.
How many problems have the Dev’s created because what they imagined the players are capable of, and they imagined what was going to happen or imagined what was going on and their expectations paled in comparison to what the players and or content was actually capable of.
You’re more then welcome to your opinion, but I’m not quite sure when it became faux pas to point out that when you have no experience or understanding of a thing you should be careful when you think to offer an opinion about it…
I don’t have a reason to imagine the experience. I’ve lived it, several years in fact. You are grasping at straws in attempt to devalue someone else’s opinion, and you are attempting to buff up your own in attempts to make your opinion look more important.
You are not important at all, learn to adapt, you don’t have special privileges, grow up, and at the end of the day, The forums are the minority.
This I understand but yes players are responsible but some game changes can be put into effect that would greatly reduce Botting. Players break things those players should be heeld accountable if proven to have been botting.
I have never condoned it and would like botters removed as well.
Lol no you haven’t… the fact you keep referring to the past tense of your experience proves it. What was then is not what is now… but honestly I’m not going continue to argue with you because you’re missing the point entirely. It’s like someone whose never left home trying to argue with someone about how things are in a different country…
Ah yes, lets continue with the personal insults, tell you what. Lets agree to disagree because clearly you have little to no intrest in coming to a common ground. You choose to instead attack and play the “Your opinion isn’t important, because I THINK I am more experienced on the subject than you.”
Not really, like I said I’m engaging in the content, you’re not plain and simple, and you want to tell me how I should handle said content having no understanding about what you’re talking about…
pretty cut and dry
lol, man what ever you say.
Better to keep silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt
Ah yes, classic. Shame that a toon with no sort of killboard activity is the one spouting it. =)
His other account is a Lamborghini.
