So they’re titans.
Its basically wow in a moba style game, with massive amounts of unbalance to it.
All i hear from this is your not the one leading pvp. #invalidated position
Oh I did not say its not impossible. I said “even if you manage to do it, people will still die”.
Though you could not really say its possible at the moment, because you utilize tickers.
Take them and standings off and set your frienimies to neut and do a large battle and get back to me about how your tactics did.
Not true. IT is very easy to nerf you and can be done in soft and hard ways. Your lucky i dont have creative rights on this game, i’d hard stop your alliance with a delete button. Lets see you dodge that.
“You should all be thankful for my impotence in this situation!” is kind of a weird flex, but okay.
Then you should work on your reading comprehension. In large, modern fleet combat, there is no singular person doing everything. That approach builds in a single-point-of-failure. Instead, in modern operations, leadership is a team. I’m a part of that team.
Of course people will die. Holy carp, you want people to die. Logistics and the ‘we can’t break anything’ it brings is a problem right up there with supercaps. But it’s necessary if you’re going to be successful.
That’s not the game doing it. But hey…
Thanks for calling attention to your biases.
Sadly you just threw away any and all credibility you may have had with that one comment.
I’m not a member of Goons and have no love for them but in all honesty wouldn’t like to see them wiped out by developers because it might fix something game design failed to do.
I believe it is up to players to find a way to deal with “The Goon Menace”
I mean the game has always had a notoriously high learning curve. Frankly it points to the trend of the gaming community as a whole favoring instant gratification, although I do understand given the length of the game how that creates a pretty significant divide between the bitter vets and the newbro’s. That being said it makes a hard case to trust their numbers when they’re using that as a talking point.
It could, but thats even less reasonable. If pvp went up you would expect a proportional increase in pod deaths. The way pvp is done hasnt changed with the blackout., no reason to use less bubbles. Actually one would expect the oposite, gate camps supposedly increased with blackout. One would also expect pveers to bubble their pockets even more.
On the other hand you overestimate the contribution of large-scale null sov wars have to to ship kills. Most of the time its like: enemy drops an astra, waits response, defender overforms, attacker blueballs. repeat.
The Triglv infested systems were a lot and all over null, they did take PVEers by surpise, they didnt even understand what was happening at the beginning and were almost oneshotted by sight. Thousands died … they certainly can account for the numbers.
Bubblers are visible on d-scan. With Blackout in effect, I wouldn’t be too surprised if it turns out dictors are less used than they used to be, in offensive hunts. Defense or while camping etc, sure, but when you’re trying to get the drop on things under cover of Blackout, a dictor on d-scan is a surefire way of sending prey skedaddlin’ to docks.
Either way, it’s not like either of us have access to the data needed for this. I highly doubt enough bears were active to account for a higher than normal kill count, if PvP activity supposedly goes down. That’s just not going to be a thing, given the general lack of testicular fortitude inherent to bears. That’s just a tad difficult to prove without access to CCP’s data.
Doesn’t make sense.
No your not, your just trying to flex you are. Some fc is carrying you. You just have an position in noobswarm, probably king carebear claiming pvp excellence. keep to rock collecting, or flower picking bro.
On a serious note, while one person does not carry everything, some one persons carry a lot. Fc for example, with out him your lemmings; which is what you are king rock collector.
By that i mean more then one or two, and i mean allies (allied neuts) not enemies.
Oh absolutely. Because you goons are the worse thing this game has ever seen. Your legacy is ascii penis’s and boobs. You goons will never amount to anything, thats why cartoonz disbanded you and shorter after i had a heart to heart on this topic to Mittens, is why he left you.
They recognized they are leading a group of immature, egocentric children which physically mature (questionably) but couldn’t dream of it mentally.
No. Goons have a massive influence on this game, to much for one entity to have. Scamming and abuse of this game came about because of them. Undoubtedly, Many people left this game before of them. They are a poison, creeping through the veins of space in eve, slowly but steadily killing it. My hatred for goons is not because i was a bob member, but because of they utter lack of respect they have for this game, its development team, and its player base.
No intelligent designer designers a game to be “niche”. Its business suicide and stupidity. Eve is the exception to this rule, because no other game exists to challenge it (a problem that soon is coming to an end). All the other games were designed even more poorly then this game.
Eve has great concepts in its design, but often its totally thrown out the door by some stupid last minute alteration. I suspect some genius dev at ccp made great systems and then one of the idiot leads/ceo made some stupid change to it. I find it impossible to believe that good design can have such horrible things in it, which screams to me two creators, like two cooks in the kitchen.
Like marble statues all with gold inlaid
In castles built of silence, let us play.
Even though our skulls ride in our flesh.
We can build a laser, tear the mesh.
It doesn’t matter if we turn to dust;
Turn and turn and turn we must.
I guess I’ll see you dancin’ in the ruins tonight!
Arrendis; I think I found the reason for all the Goon hate.
If only you knew the role play behind this death.
I flew through pixe space, into the heart of goon swarm role playing in local saying “this is a diplomatic shuttle on an official diplomatic missions to ally with the great goonswarm!”
I’m sorry but that just makes it all the Funnier.
Flying into Delve or any other sov nul region uninvited is asking to be sent home the fast way.
Most sov holding alliances have Diplo channels for those who want to negotiate with them. You choose to “roll play” as a diplomat in Sov nul - Expect a less than friendly welcome.
Brb, going to go again an unfair advantage by creating an alpha toon just to gank one particular person’s ship over and over.
Killing them will be pleasure, not business.
No what is needed now is what CCP are doing.
- Rebalancing Null so that Risk is closer to reward
- This makes the use of the area requiring active defences not passive (meaning that you do not just sit someone on the points in who tells people when to dock up but you have to send combat troops out with PvE troops)
- This restores Null to the second most dangerous area in Eve
What they need to do next is
- Then you need to make the Sov based on usage not some structure so that you increase your hold by using the space and lose control by not using it.
- Disband the CSM as a lot of the problems have been caused by them
- Install real customer service.
Except thats not what theyve done at all. As everyone has told you so far.
No actually what everyone has done so far is whined that their theme park cash cow has been disturbed.
Thats not increased risk in Null.
Thats increased whining on forums by entitled kulaks.
Thats utterly irrelevant to a change in the game.
