I have mixed feelings about this. I enjoy both the mining as well as the PvP aspects of the game. The PvPer in me is frothing at the mouth to think that I can go into a system to hunt, and unless someone is mashing the dscan, they’ll never know for a second that I’m there. Not until I decloak and bend them over that is.
On the other hand, this makes me want to give up mining altogether. But that presents a problem as well. If no one is mining (or only HSers are mining), what’s that going to do to the cost of my PvP ships?
This is a very big “FU” to the miners while giving a nod/OP to PvP/hunters. Not much balance in that if you ask me. Hunting about to get stupid easy. Until everyone stops mining and krabbing that is.

To all the nullbears: either adapt and learn to thrive in the new environment or move to low/hi sec to run your bots.
This will break up the stupid blue doughnut and make Null sec actually dangerous.

IF it where like that, I might actually make the game interesting.
But it would have to be fairely short term, or people coping with it by not logging will start to spend their time elsewere…

worst case is cyno to lowsec…keepstars caps cynos rorqs moons all there … now you can just delete nullsec, fozzysov is ■■■■ gameplay anyways

I actually am pleasantly surprised. This is an unprecedented and gutsy move on CCP’s part, I’m really excited to see this kind of radical implemented testing in the live environment.
I’m super excited to experience the adrenaline of being genuinely frightened whilst ratting, or shaking in anticipation of sneaking up to make a kill, I’m hoping it revives some of the nostalgia from when I first began playing. Thank you for this opportunity.
