Full on wormhole local in unused, non-upgraded space is fine.
Delay in ânormalâ local inversely proportional to upgraded space is best, especially if it allows attackers the ability to entosis a system/constellationâs local ability (upwell observatory) and give them 12 or 24 or 48 hours of delayed or no local.
Thereâs play. And counter play.
Spending the time and isk maintaining your space should be rewarding. Iâll give you this: current sov play is stale, underperforming and in need of change.
As a goon, I would welcome the idea of fighting off attackers from trying to screw with my favorite systemâs infrastructure⌠if balanced. (Inb4 hurr durr supr blob OP: Iâm sure we could find a balance.)
But this? This is CCP grasping at straws because they literally have no flipping clue how to balance their own game. 10 bucks says they put reddit ideas on a dartboard, put a blind fold on an intern, made him skull a beer and he chucked darts. Whatever was landed on was the gameplan.

The change should be announced as permanent. Because I suspect nullblocks will do anything they can to try to force CCP to revert back to how it was.
Donât give them hope that youâll change it back if necessary or they will try to make you do it.
This is one of the best salt mines in the 13 years i know EVE Online.
