Local Comms Blackout - Discussion Thread

And yet, they were wrong, and I was right, all those years. Sad to be surrounded by idiots who literally can’t tell I’m right even after the fact.

Also about bots; how hard is it for them to run a program that flags users that have been running the same sequence of commands for extended durations (8+ hours a day) for X number of days… then a DEV teleports there and say “Hey, No lifer… whats the capital of iceland?” and they get… uhh… Copenhagen… THEN ITS WRONG MF’ER PERMABANNED via MAC Address, IP Address and auto downloaded key to your HDD… but no… lets remove local.

I’m starting to question your brain damage.

pvp is mentioned because it’s one of the systems. I said that much.

I also said that this system is niche, boring, unentertaining, and largely irrelevant, hence being mentioned after exploration.

Nowhere here it says this system is more important than any other.

But somehow you derived from it that eve is a pvp game, while it’s clearly not; as stated by that image - sandbox.

You have a serious problem in your membrane pal, if industry and PVE didn’t have PVP elements, then why the heck do they have a market that only other players can buy from? Why can you ONLY sell to players? WHY is the only real NPC involvement is when you do missions, killing them, or buying skill books?

want the risk of WH life with out the financial incentive? live in null during the black out. all the Directional scanning every 7 seconds you could ever hope for, constant threat of T3’s decloaking on you with no warning they are in system. say good by to any mining or ratting outside of perma bubbled pocket systems with 24/7 gate camps… and get ready to station spin any time there isn’t a pvp fleet ready and waiting to jump in to protect you. Null blackout. great for all the pvp players… especially cloaky T3’s and BLOPS but ruinous for all the industry corps and players that keep the markets moving and PVP players supplied with ships to use.

im guessing this No local will absolutely destroy bot accounts when peeps park in those systems ready to wreck anything that undocks . Then again its also likely to create lots more baiting due to noone knowing how many fleetmates that lone orca in the belt has in station .

EVEEYE still works, it’s a better product IMHO.

Damn, you make it sound awesome. I think I will move to null, thanks!

(Industry folks don’t really keep anyone supplied with anything anyway these days. Production has been vastly exceeding destruction for so many years at this point that it’s going to take far more than a nullsec blackout to fix the economy anyway. But it is a step in the right direction.)

AMEN Seems some people see only PVP in that I see the rest of the universe but hey tunnel or Wormhole vision has got it claws into them at this time, most reports coming in are a few successful hunters have done well many others have failed, and again the total drop in numbers today overall as a whole I hope reverberates to CCP loud and clear,

anyone continuing to post here must realize this is a never ending cycle of sht posting… for sht posting sake

also no one gives a sht

I have played for 10 years. I have multiple accounts. I have spent 8 or so of those years in Null-Sec.

If I wanted to live in a wormhole, I would live in a wormhole. I do not, so I live elsewhere.

This is ludicrous, regardless of its duration.

I had hopes of playing a lot this summer, but now, maybe not so much.

The constant crap like this from CCP has me seriously thinking of unsubbing all my accounts and going away, likely like many others.

You should seriously be trying to find ways to retain players and make game mechanics easier so people can play, rather than finding ways to drive people away.

Thanks for reading.

It’s you who’s having a problem.
Industry and pve have NO pvp elements. Literally zero.
pve is by definition not pvp. Unless placing your extractors on a planet on top of someone else’s is considered pvp nowadays.
Industry is literally using materials and blueprints, gathering them, and getting some product - no pvp either.
Trying to extract profit from market in competition with other players may be, just for the sake of discussion, cosidered pvp - but it doesn’t care how you get your stuff to trade, completely unrelated.

Also, you clearly have understated NPC involvement. There are npc miners, npc bases, npc buy orders exist as well. NPCs drive the story, NPCs kill you in hisec when you do booboo there.

And from all this big rich sandbox you picked one niche, MOST boring, MOST unentertaining, MOST irrelevant system to push your narrative about. Really, dude?

Your stuff…I can have it?

Just a heads up Dotlan doesn’t have data to show in spirit of blackout. Have fun!

Why did Jita sold out on Curses a few days ago then? Why does it cost 400mil now? I know, it’s probably because indy guys have supplied so much the prices are collapsing now, right?

What the #%## are you on?

The OP is CCP, this is an official feedback topic, telling people to unsub is against CCP guidelines of forum use.

God there’s a load of BS posts here, heaps of half truths and lies.

Their talking about mutli boxing and accounts, not single accounts.

Maybe it should cost 400 mil. Or way more. A ship like that used to be something you had to struggle hard to afford. That was when the economy was well balanced. Things had real value, losses hurt. Wins were glorious. 400 mil is pocket change nowadays.
