And carebear who fight back will unsub in all region who are not under super umbrella beacause they will be over farm.
That’s the next change that’s coming. Content no longer supporting ridiculous numbers of players clumped together. Spread out or lose out.

You’ll see lot’s of it in the empty NS…people don’t seems to understand that WHs are different. You’ll just have bazziliions systems to Dscan. Nullbears that stay will fortify themselves in pipe systems. Stagnation will deepen.

CCP is doing this as a response to null sec blocs agreeing to work with each other in cutting highsec out of the production markets. This decision was made after CCP released Drifters that attack structures during 2 wars (over 4 trillion killed in the north alone) and both those wars and smaller conflicts had to be called off in order to defend strategic assets.

I don’t need to give the exact number go to search it. You will see the drop in activity youreself tyou have metrics of that, we have a lot of metrics.
Basically you think you will have more content beaxause no local, i agree for 2 month only. After it will be not the case and worst as now.
You want a true change who CP could do and they will never do beacause they are affraid ? Give to little entity tools to be competitve against giant coalition. It’s harder to make, but it’s solution to save eve from stagnation and reduction of content.
How they can do that ? Maybe by remimebr they have a shitons of npc corporation who could help alliance who hunt pve player or miner by giving mission like 'dirupt locust fleet this day and earn XXX" at alliance/corp level. Yes it demand a lot of people. But you know what ? it will more healthy for game.

I’m not sure CCP realize the long term repercussions of this. Bloc level alliances are further empowered from this once they get home defense established whereas the the small guys are going to be oblterated.
Short term we’ll see more deaths, long term we’ll probably even less alliances on the map as everyone cluster together under the same alliances for defense fruther stagnating the game. I’d love to be proven wrong though, but bitter experience has taught me otherwise about these major changes.

Interesting way to shake things up after all these years. I kind of like it even though I think its going to bork the economy.
Please consider additional and/or more powerful scanning and sensor equipment and rigs. If you can’t see them in local, at least give pro-active players ways to scan more effectively, and also active sensors to see what is around them, even multiple jumps away.
I think long range sensors to see X systems out, and and better passive and active short range scanning should be explored, with a much better UI that doesn’t require changing screens so much.
