‘huge’ fights in wormholes. Hehehehehehehe. Maybe when Init takes a year to prep one. Otherwise, you guys got small gangs you like to talk up a lot.

Oh I see, But to me that seems to punish the ratters of null sec along with the miners and manufactures

but i guess with your response it kind of makes sense that they would try to make the game fair for producers in highsec.

just as a way to resolve that maybe they should have reduced the amount of ore in null? so it keeps ratters able to do there thing but dose not let manufactures abuse the market

WTF I love CCP now

First- CCP hiding behind lore instead of simply making a dev blog is simply horrible. Removing local - which I think is interesting as gameplay, seem punitive. Granted, it will help get fights, but it will not remove the blue donut. Does anyone really believe in the heart that this will break Legacy, Goons, or any established large alliance? Of course not, that’s silly. Is it a swipe at bots? Maybe… let’s see how bot programmers will respond. Is it a swipe at Null and printing ISK in what many think is a safe haven? Absolutely. However, what many players I think will see this as, is a swipe at Goons, Frat, Legacy, etc… because much of null is empty and the drifters attacking structures, then attacking ratters, now attacking (via lore) FTL which will kill local chat. All targeted at null only. While this will change gameplay and yes whoever isn’t quitting in protest, will adapt just fine. All this distraction however won’t make up for the changes over the past 5 years at least - where CCP changes made nullsec what it is and allowed those coalitions to prosper. The warts are still on the game. The list of issues still are there, nothings changed, capitals are still broke, Roquals are still mining, Titans will still flourish, Citadel reinforcement, timers, etc… are still going to be an issue. Don’t be fooled by all the triglavian / drifters stuff. We want the problems addressed, not just CCP injecting massive changes targeted at one section of the game - the part of the game that has the fights that entice new players to join. All I’m saying is it seems punitive, even though the intent may not be.

Then why change it? To hemorrhage playerbase?

Good riddance! The bulk of items is produced in Highsec anyway, so we shall see what exact effect on the economy will be. IMO, this is the best ISK sink we could get.

Kinda hilarious to see all the Null “we’re definitely not carebears!” players unsubbing their accounts the second it becomes a bit less safe.

Yes, you’ve been reading ‘all over this thread’ the testimonials of less than 2 dozen people saying they’re going to reactivate their accounts. The game’s PCU is down 60% from peak. You know 10+ people coming back. Great. That’s not a valid sampling. Go find the 300,000+ who’ve left the game over the years and find out how many of them give a damn about this.

They change it, because you are wrong. Every time you made a hit on big targets you burned you spy. Now I even see greater opportunities with much greater frequency. Even delve can be attacked much easier now.

Are most items produced in HS? You are crazy?
Check the official indexes and despair.
Delve produces almost 80% of everything that is consimod in the game.
If delve stops exporting, the game becomes misery.
If all nullsec stops exporting, the game ends.

Today it’s nullbears crying, in a month it will be l33t PvPers:

  1. Most people will have learned about this change a week after it had been introduced, so enjoy the slaughter, because it won’t last long.
  2. People will learn to not use subcapital ships. Capitals will become the standard ships used to do the PvE content in nullsec due to their survivability. Nobody sane will undock in a shiny subcap to run a ratting site or mine in anything but a Procurer or Rorqual ever again.
  3. Solo hunting and roaming gangs will die off. There won’t be anyone left for you to hunt. All potential targets will stick together, ratting and mining in their capital ships. Capital umbrellas will become the absolute necessity.

In the end the only winner will be CCP. People will feel pressured into getting into capital ships, some will do so by spending money on the game. Overall without giving sov owners some tools to keep their systems safe I’d say that this is nuts .

Attention, please.

If you’re quitting EvE, forward your ISK to this here character. I’ll put it to good use.

Seriously, give away all of your ISK, else you’ll be tempted to resub at some point in the future. You don’t want that. You want to quit for good. Give it all away. Feel free and cut ties for good.

I wish you well. <3

For you salty cry babies
HTFU adapt or leave stop crying

No i agree beacause during 2 month a lot of pvper will resub with hope to find target. After this 2 month this effect will collapse. But basically after some 3-4 day the flow of content wills tart to slow down.

I’m really keen on seeing active player numbers and subscription data once this change goes live. Everything in here is just blustering anyway.
