Local Comms Blackout - Discussion Thread

They are better organized and post with their mains

No command from Mittens to poll. Sorrey brah

I don’t cry. People want a cry to justify why i breack the “it will be great”.
Beacause it will not be. Past campaign of NGA and day without local proof it : People just stop play. Activity decrease. And not only farming … BUT ALL activity.

I call BS! ping went out

Im in EVE since nearly 15 years now. If you think thats the right way, its your fault. No matter if its for a short term or long term, no local = no EVE. Its not about the local but i wanna have an information if someone “non friendly” is comming into system or not. This is the reason why i decided - for myself - that ill never live into any wormhole.

Kill the local and loose players, loose money. Well you are great in loosing money, showed that several times in past.

What if it is a change directed towards the lazy, risk averse, spodbrain carebears that are killing the game with perfect intel and endless isk printing?

Yeah yeah yeah. I’m sure you work for NASA, too.

All theese ppl who think that this is going to be the best change ever… I hope all ya will spend 30-40 minutes looking for anyone in totally empty systems. Sounds funnnnn

bye, go back to high sec carebear

Begun the salt war has.

Seriously though. People are so entitled, making their threats. Threats to quit, threats to harm the game, threats the game will die. All because their easy to use, foolproof method of being 100% safe in nullsec is to be removed. Adapt or die (or whine and threaten)

Here’s a tip, there are other ways to make nullsec safe enough to play in. It may be ever so slightly more dangerous, but it’s really not so big of a deal as the whiners are making out.

Those hit hardest by far from this are botters who depend on local for their bots to farm 24/7 in safety. As an active player, you just need to listen to intel on when there are enemies in the vicinity, and halt farming until danger has passed.

Yeah but that was temporary, if the bug gets elevated to a feature people will simply adapt to it and everything will more or less stay the same.

No i don’t work for NASA? I was seapcking of NGSA , a group of perma cloacky from imperium.
But yes it’s easier to shitpost aginst people than answer with scientific fact. So i understand you’re reract you have no fact to confort what youa re saying.

NGSA campgnai was not only 1 or two day, people haven’t adapt, a lot of have just stop play until it was over.

Don’t Think this will go down for the majority of players. Think this would be better if the space you were in was huge, But given that a lot of sites fall within a 4au range of celestials bodies and combined with a 14au D-Scan space just became much smaller.

Plus as stated I think for solo pilots with just a single account they won’t compete with others who play with multiple accounts and just spend the days hot dropping while the solo players go pop…lol Content for null may diminish a little due to the lack of solo players possibly retreating to high, which is the end for most null bears who hate high sec!.

Please let us see the subscription data charts after the Blackout. Be interesting to see how many people actually quit, unsub or just talk Out Da Butt!

if you are in a good corp or ally you have scouts cloaky on all the gates around you work so stop crying
it’s pathetic …if CCP changes something play with that and play for pleasure not for “no riskies iskies”…

CCP changes this for his future life …null-sec play-style atm kill the game most speed than “a silent chat”
so thx CCP!

Honestly its a challenge, who cares, I’m rather excited about the change, and I’m a null pilot. Also adds a challenge to the hot droppers etc as now they don’t know what is in system when they drop their fleets and start loosing billions as they drop in a system with 100+ ppl who warp in to their drop.

Not to mention all those players with cloaky campers toons, who passively sit in systems driving down ADM’s, your psychological threat just became somewhat laughable.

@CCP_Falcon About time you guys started toying with ideas and options regarding local! When I cornered @CCP_Burger at Eve North about this, he was grinning ear to ear and changing the subject as much as he could. I knew right then it was on the table. Love it.

Sorry my bad bro, I though you were speaking about the outage of local.

That is a moot point to make. Removing Local doesn’t stop your D-scan from working…
