Login no longer auto-completes previously logged in accounts

My launcher has all my accounts “saved” but still asks me to put in the info for one of the accounts before I can get to the menu that allows me to log any of them in. It also forgets the profiles associated with each account every time I restart the launcher and I have to set them again.

It also repeatedly forgets my overview settings and chat channels.

EDIT Ok now it’s only forgetting the profile, overview, chat channels and login info for my first account. It’s remembering the other 5 just fine. It always asks me to provide the login details for an account, so I provide them for my main account and then it forgets all the settings for that account every time I use the launcher.

Clarification

The launcher UI does not control the auto-complete (drop-down) feature that is referred to in the op here. It is a part of the SSO, and yesterday’s update did not cause any change to this. I believe the developers working on the SSO will bring this feature back, but I do not have any timeframe for this. I’m changing the title of this topic to prevent further confusion.

If UI is forgetting pinned accounts

In case anyone is experiencing the UI forgetting pinned accounts as of version 2407 (version can be found in lower-right corner of the launcher), please try clearing the launcher cache folders in %localappdata%\ccp\eve\.

Folder names:

  • cache
  • QtWebEngine

If the issue persists beyond this, please file a bug report with launcher logs attached.

So you believe the developers are working on it. That is good. Can you please go ask them if they actually do? Maybe a rough estimate when we can count with it working again? As the pinning is insecure, what is stated even in the launcher, I would at least like to have the option of selecting the usernames from the drop-down menu.

I suppose another question is why did they remove the feature in the first place?
