• Low-sec versions of the ‘Needlejack’ null-sec filaments.
• Noise/Signal variations, featuring 5, 15 and 25 (6 total)
• Noise filaments transports pilots to randomly-chosen parts of low-sec space
• Signal filaments transports pilots to randomly-chosen parts of low-sec space with high capsuleer activity.
A bit too easy to use these to hopefully land right next to high sec space, don’t you think?
I already think that filaments to high sec are a mistake (Pochven express, winter filaments) and this would add more possibilities to just filament your hauling goods instead of using star gates.
Would actually be interesting to figure out how much content Travel Filaments created versus removed. It’s only a gut feeling, but I think they removed a ton more (because of less activity for gate camps, the ability to peace out of a tight camp after an attack, the ability to skip huge swaths of space in an instant, etc.) than the few and far in between successful attacks could possibly create.
They are a mixed bag for me. I did like that they made null pipes have at least some risk. But they also removed nearly all risk from the harassing gang.
Ls ones i do feel would be used almost exclusivity to get to hs rather than to find content.
I mean it’s already pretty easy to find content in LS
I guess that’s one argument in favor of cynos in low-sec…
What?
Not having filaments to bypass the gate camps (at least until Winter Nexus, anyway).
I don’t get what it could have to do with cynos…
Using jump filaments from High to Null and into Trig space is the epitome of what makes a raider a raider.
Im certain Null Bloc alliances will cry when High sec raiders jump into a Null system and scoop loot from an ESS.
ESS raiding is more elite than High Sec ganking, especially in an Alpha ship.
