LOL is this what you did?
You have no idea how to blitz L4 missions.

You have no idea how to blitz L4 missions.
Depends on the mission and how many targets i need to kill.
ok so youâre avoiding the question because you know what question will come next. Got it.
Indeed, that explains why. I usually use torp and MJD in, not out. (400M fitting besides the hull, including ammo). So i am good with the 40km range of rage.
You range-tank the rats. No problem with that, but when you want to be a bit faster, give another fit a try⌠Maybe actually your tank reduces your DPS.
Just because I didnt give the answer that you were hoping Id give, doesnt mean im avoiding the question.
Your response is no different than asking âDo your parents know youre gay? You can only answer with a Yes or a Noâ, and then getting angry because the person answered with âim notâ. I outsmarted you, deal with it.
Yeah. If you just keep MJDing further and further, then active tank doesnt matter. I can see why it took him close to an hour to run an L4.
If he has ISP issues I can understand he rather play safe.
I believe more people have those issues now.
No.
Itâs very simple: youâre going to need a painter for every weapon group so if you run 4 groups then good luck with that.
On top of that due to cycle times youâre going to run into trouble if you donât have a lot of time because the target are close. Youâre going to get overlap and misshaps while also having to click like mad (which as said 99% donât do, and certainly not the OP).
The only way to make that work without getting carpal tunnel is macroing.
My usual Golem is torpedo fit with a booster on it and lots of bling. The slots these extenders use on this fit have my booster and my cap battery in them on it. Normally, that is what I would use. But I am hesitant to go gate jumping around with it. This Golem is nice and cheap and works pretty well.
At this point, I am no longer convinced you are engaging honestly in this discussion. In that hour I made more than 20 jumps in and back out from jita, buying the fit and then fitting it back up, forgetting two pieces and going back. I then ran the mission. I donât know what is going on in your house that you feel the need to willfully disregard what anyone else says and intentionally pretend to misunderstand to troll people, but you need to tend to it. It shows.
I have no idea why you both talk about an hour.
However he is right, that running away makes you take more time to complete a mission.
No you dont you. You can easily split your attention between larger and smaller ships at the same time.
Unless, of course, you didnt know you dont need a painter for battleships, which there are plenty of, in an L4.
Target painters cycle in 5 seconds⌠What are you talking about.
And then you said you use MJDs to basically distance-tank the L4 mission. I used to do it when i was running a Rokh with Railguns when i first started running L4s. This is like the kindergartens first L4.
Disregard what? You never said you went to jita and back until now.
All you did say is that you were running L4s by basically MJDing out to a safe distance and waiting for your missiles to fly over to your targets and placing 150km between yourself and any possible damage.
The only thing that shows is that you are desperate to get out of this discussion because of how foolish you look, and you know it.
Whats that about target painters? Where did that discussion go?
Cov Op HAM Loki with Large Shield Booster II does angel extravaganza mission just fine, including the bonus room. 250 EHP/s is all you need for that mission, especially once you blap some gistatis.
Not all missions are like that, and unless you can keep doing this youâre going to lose time.
Painters work on impact meaning that if you KNOW youâre going to kill a target with the volley you already fired and thus switch to a next one but you still have to wait for it to hit itâs going to be extremely annoying and in some cases difficult to get the painter on the next target, because the more groups you have the more messed up it becomes. Yes, if youâre super sweaty and go hard on this, sure. But the majority of the people (and certainly the OP) is not going to make that work, thereâs a REASON theyâre using missile ships.
One hour to run an L4? Even HAM Loki does them under 30 minutes (full clear).
The tank you need is affected by your sig and speed so an ABing Loki is going to need far less than a slowboating BS (especially a Caldari one).
True that. In case of ABing Loki you are also affected by your piloting skills. Mismanage transversals and the tank may break down, all the while you donât have the buffer for such mistakes (large shield booster ii + shield boost amplifier ii does give around 500 ehp/s before speed tank is accounted for, yet that is also all you have). I just enjoy doing them this way, and seeing how I can do 100M/h just paying attention to what I am doing, seems like a fine income to me (not even trying to do the best, just properly avoiding dead times due to range on ham, i.e. just pathing properly between targets). 200M is limit with my setup, for now. This is w/o burners, but I do tend towards farming anti-amarr missions, so there is that.
One problem we have is that the OP didnât (as far as I have seen) state what he meant by ânot making much isk in L4sâ. Is the same way you read on eve uni wiki ârare commander spawnâ. What do you mean when you say rare? 1 in 5? 1 in 10? 1 in 20? What did he mean by not much? 30M/h? 60M/h? 100M/h? 200M/h?
OP isnât exactly the most active player, as we found out. That shows in his posts, lack of mentioning of details and his play style(s). Which is the exact reason I didnât give him a super sweaty fit which some sweaty player rages against because itâs not sweaty enough.
This is an ingame value. In my experience itâs around 5%.
Donât expect them to give information that is kept by devs.
I agree with your judgement on OPâs lack of precision.
