Pixel Fear and Afraid to Undock are not cloak problems.

Also if you are in null then put up cyno inhibitors and ignore the cloak.

What exactly do Cyno inhibitors will do?
Covert cyno>Cyno inhibitor

Now I know you are theory crafting, no one is afraid of covert ops.

Capital ships you already have in system > ships that can arrive via covert cyno. The cyno inhibitor locks out any potential counter-drop threat to your caps and lets you crush any opposition that attempts to attack. Unless youā€™re a RMT botter, of courseā€¦

Yes because 50 bombers isntantly killing a carrier is not a threat. Just because you think in smaller scales it doesnt mean its useless. Half the Supercarrier kills happen because they rat in a Cyno jammed system without the knowledge of Covert Cynos.

Well then if you want to be a stalker bring a DST or Blockade runner with fuel and stalk after you done refueling ur bomber.

Yeah they would be so freakin happy to make an already long 2 hour roam into a 6 hour roam because they manually need to check every empty system for enemy activity.

That Local is a necessity.
But Having a mechanism that allows you to permanently remain in a system without the owners of given system having any way of getting rid of you is absolutely broken.

You cant put a price tag on something thats broken.

Why should players who are not AFK cloaky camping suffer from this?

8-12? No way. More like 2-3 hours. Or even less. This way we can reduce the flow of ISK into the game. In fact, think of it as giving CCP a nice policy ā€œleverā€ when it comes to managing the ISK supply/inflation. :stuck_out_tongue:

No. The fleet comps would adapt. More scoutsā€¦not even that many more scouts, IMO. Interceptors are pretty fast moving. Get in system, it a couple of celestials while pinging d-scan, of nothing move on, if something try to zero in on the kill.

So your complaint is that youā€™re outnumbered 50:1 and you lose? Sorry, no sympathy. Youā€™re supposed to lose at 50:1 odds. If you donā€™t want to lose try having 50 carriers/FAX/etc on grid doing that farming and enjoy your free bomber kills if theyā€™re dumb enough to engage.

Cloaks are fine as they are. If anything cloaky campers help to keep players mobilisedā€¦aligning when ratting, and team mates ready to warp in at a moments notice to help.

Hopefully your team will take shifts and have cloakys present at the staging point where your enemies are mobilised. It does not take much to find out when the team working with your enemy cloaky camper is mobilising, really it doesnā€™t.

A good alliance should be able to train up lots of pilots for ECM, again take it in shifts to fly around your area with ECM fitted ships and be ready to assist those who have been pinned down by your cloaky campers. You have a great opportunity for PVP and to get your team talking and coming up with strategies to either avoid or fight the cloakys.

If youā€™re not in an alliance or corp, then get into a small blue community and work with them to solve the issue.

As you can see I have no patience for anyone complaining about cloaky campers, the complainers are more powerful than they even know, start talking to others and come up with a plan to defeat cloakys using the game mechanics alone without complaining.

Why cant the cloaking module have a 1hr timer, like aggression/jump timers?
This would require active engagement for all, IF you are dumb enough to go afk and not gather active intell you can get hunted. If youā€™re active no issue stay cloaked.

The onus is on you to show the need for that, WHY SHOULD IT?

Maybe if we ever get the observatory arrayā€¦but at this point Iā€™m beginning to doubt itā€¦

Even if you make the OA ridiculously overpowered in favor of all the people whining about afk cloaking it wouldnā€™t stop their whining, because their problem basically boils down to wanting a pvp-free farm themepark experience.

With Hacking you can remove yourself from local in the current system :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I would think the hacking target would be the stargate, but open to suggestions.

This could be a flag offense of some kind, donā€™t really care one way or another.

Sure thing but if you do that you will also biomass or at least lose 50M SP when you eventually get podded.

Is there a rational for that besides just being pixel afraid of cloaked AFK players?
