We really don’t. No changes are going to happen to AFK cloaking because no problem exists*, and CCP has explicitly stated that this is the case. The thread on the subject exists so that CCP can consolidate all of the trash into a single can instead of leaving it cluttering up the forums. It’s just basic housekeeping.

*Your alliance being bottom-tier renter trash and shutting down every time a non-blue name appears in local is not a problem with game mechanics, it’s a “you suck at EVE” problem.

This little nerf to the cloaking device will help solve the problem of not being able to do nothing about cloaky campers.

Not sucking at EVE will also solve this problem, and do so without requiring any changes to the game. Perhaps you and your bottom-tier renter alliance should try it?
