Make eve consequential again

The title says it all.

Bring beck consequences to the game.

Make it the harsh unforgiving environment it used to be.

Losing skill points if you did not upgraded your clone.

Losing skill points in a t3 if you die.

Nerv the f ing ansiplex and jump fatigue.

Make hs ganking easyer.

Remove asset safety or at least nef it to the point you have to pay 80+% of it’s value to get it

Security status should not be fixable that Easy.

Nerv cloak mwd trick

High sec ganking is easy. Just takes enough people for your target.

You know, back in the day when skill point loss was a thing, there was no asset safety because you could not lose your assets in an outpost under any circumstances. If you want to remove Asset Safety, I want EVE to return to conquerable outposts, too.

And back in those days, we also didn’t have jump fatigue. We could jump across the universe in 20 minutes and dunk some clueless clown that thought whipping out a Titan on a gate was a clever stunt.

If you talk about nostalgia, at least make sure that it’s rooted in history and not some drug induced fiction.

No its to easy to avoid.

No it’s easy to do. This game STILL has neutral bumping. Bumping is and always has been the poor man’s warp scrambler with zero consequences.

First and foremost, you might want to edit. I believe you mean Nerf and not Nerv. Nerf is to soften, as in a child’s Nerf Bat made of foam rubber.

I have played MMOs with options to play in hard mode. This sounds like a suggestion for game mechanics and that is a whole different thread.

So English is not my first language.

So i dont mind if there are some typos.

But in general the idea is.

The game get les and les plater driven and is catering to the cry baby’s and solo players.

And i dont like the direction eve goes.

Its to easy to avoid consequences.

And that it should have.

No one has to be able to be everywhere at any time.

This takes out all the tactical movement’s.

Benefits bigger alliance’s over proportional.

It might meen les pvp but overall this woyld be a tradeoff worth it.

Because then you might have the feeling again that the fight actually matterd in a greater sense.

People should not be able to prevail as a solo player.

Eve is a multiplayer game.

And the social aspects are a huge thing in eve.

And if you dont participat in the social hame.

You dont provide content.

Losing a ship should be painful even for experienced and rich players.

Let them feel some pain. And skill points. Is universal a good idea.

Well we might have to remove skill injection for thia.

And for ganking your sec status it should be second to faction standing.

+8 faction standing -8 sec status =0 = not be aggressed by faction

Also this would manifest the feel of belonging and a home to e certain region of space

I will never feel pain losing a ship. If I lose a ship, I’ll buy a new one. I always assume I’ll lose any ship I undock in.

And losing skill points and upgrading clones was stupid. It should never have been a thing. If you want real consequences, make death a permanent reset- if you die, you lose ALL skill points and must start again. If that’s too “painful” then skill points should never ever be lost.

And PvP of big tanked ships by little ships happens every single day. So nothing needs to be made easier.

If ganking is too hard, get better at it or get more friends.

I will never care whether or not someone thinks I add or subtract to the game’s social scene.

Well not only did you discredit your self as a socially incapable person.

But if you believe ganking is easy you must be ganked quite often.

So you are bad at the game and dont even know what you are talking about.

Wich in return means you suck at this game and are part of tge problem.

Actually, I’m not ganked because I’m a good player.

Non of your statements is true.

You are not good and its to Easy to avoid getting gaked

Lol okay, buddy. Guess you need more friends.

So why is it you never get ganked?

Explain you goodness.

Also im not a ganker myself and my asumtion comes from avoiding ganks at a regular basis.

Even haven 10’s of b in

Doing 30+ jumps to jita and back.

So given my experience and never lost a hauler in 10+ yeara.

There is only one conclusion.

Ganking needs to be improved

Well if you’re not even in high sec, what do you know about it?

I watch local. I also protect my ships so that everyone around me make easier targets.

You two about to get this thread locked.

Everything’s easy when you’ve never done it.

For once I entirely agree. It’s bad enough in the first place having to wait 31 days for some level V skill to fly a Vargur. That’s longer than many people play an entire game. I’d simply lose interest in EVE if all that became for nothing. I already have a skill queue that stretches half way into my next life…and any loss to that would result in the prompt cancellation of my subscription.

Grow a brain, Gloria. 5 Catalysts vs a Hulk. That’s it. Simple. It’s not difficult. I don’t have time to teach you how to play this game.

I stand by my statement. Things are always easy if you’ve never done them. Heck….climbing Mount Everest is easy. It’s just a big hill. What’s the problem ?

How would you conceivably know how easy something is if you’ve never done it ??

Or you could just go jump off a cliff……and we could all enjoy those consequences
