CCP will never lean do one big change at a time not two!
Unfortunately, if you haven’t previously taken steps against this, you’re pretty much screwed. The way to mitigate the damage is to periodically back up your settings folder (yes, I also learned this the hard way…) Then, when your UI goes pear-shaped, you can overwrite your settings folder with the backup (however, some interface changes in updates can negate this method - I had this once after taking a few months’ break and finding what had in fact broken was my UI, that restoring a good copy only fixed some of it.) Sadly, it occurs to me that I haven’t backed mine up in a few weeks… sigh… which means there’s every possibility that I may have to move a bunch of hotkeys around, and re-define drone groups, etc. (And I’m normally SO good about backing up before patch day! Grrrr…)

Was doing The Hunt event just fine besides a few lag spikes here and there, then the server shut down.
Only other bug was that all of my chat tabs were gone.
It’s iconic - literally

I can’t speak for CCP but it would be the most reasonable action to fix the code-problems and rollback the database to the state at beginning of downtime.
and copy paste the over the fixes to the old code?
Well, if EVE isn’t up I can always read the forums. Known issues…everything. But that is apparently “known” by everyone here. Sigh, wouldn’t want EVE to get in the way of arrving on time for work. Lets see what difference 12 hours makes, after my shift.
