CCP, banning alphas from running L4 security missions has now driven me out of the game.

I subscribed for many years from very early on and thoroughly enjoyed the game. I recently returned to see what the alpha experience was like and was surprised at how good it was after the deliberate expansion of alpha options - perhaps too good. I have spent my time helping in Rookie chat while running L4 security missions. CCP has now removed the main item that kept me playing on a casual basis. I have absolutely no interest in running L3 missions that are utterly trivial, nor in competing for the ever more crowded combat anomalies that mainly produce interesting escalations in too risky low sec space.

So sadly you have succeeded in driving me out of the game.

CCP doesn’t care about this either. You are not their target audience anymore. You are not one of these stupid whales so you can very well leave as you are not welcome any longer.

They also modified the respawn time of rally points. Just tried it out.
Honestly… This is a typical “let’s try to solve an issue with minimal or no effort” change. Making so without even giving details on the changes. ccpls…

I don’t think the change was meant to harm botting but to reduce the amount of isk entering the economy through bounty payouts.

Yes, superrat will ruin the economy. But afk rorqmining with 20 accounts will not.

HaHa nice as an alpha i cant fly lev4 anymore (damn cant finish my epic arc).
But hey i can still fly forsaken hubs and yes my skill speed is bad, 20mins for 1, but hey thats about the respawn timer lol

I dont really think these changes are good, i guess as omega you have to reskill to industry and build some stuff for money (with a fleet of miner bots hehe)

5 minutes, Havens after the last patch 10 minutes.

Well if CCP cares at all about the economy then another rorq nerf comes next. Gonna be a ■■■■ storm on the forums when that hits.

Alphas were an unforced mistake from the beginning. It was obvious from the start that alphas would turn botting into an unwinable game of wack a mole. Imo no tears will be shead if this causes alphas to stop playing.

Please do tell how many ISK rorqmining generates… and i mean pure isk entering economy and not transferring hands from one player to another, which often accompanied with sales and broker taxes and various fees (isk sink).

The only way for rorq to generate ISK is to blow it up and get insurance payout.
