Welllā¦ there are other ways to krab for ISK besides running havens, but point taken. PVE aināt for everyone. Same as PVP. Same as MARKET PVP specifically.

Market traders that aim to suppress prices are bad for those who do produce the goods. If an item cannot be produced and sold above cost, the supply of said item becomes unsustainable. If enough people give up on manufacturing an item, it may drop off the market altogether until CCP makes change to increase its relevancy.
I would rather see market trader gameplay suffer somewhat, opposed to the industrialist getting another smack from the nerf bat.
They are pretty much forced to PLEX.
I doubt it. There will be groups that have huge damn stockpiles just waiting to flood the market. If CCP really want to deplete resources from the big city folk, theyāre going to have to watch the little villages suffer a good while too.
When I started playing career agents handed out ships for free, around starter systems those ships were literally being given away.

Just because they dont play the meta right. Most people didnt multibox 5+ Rorqs, but they where missing out, because the best way to play the game was multiboxing that many Rorqs.
If you personally didnt use that many orders, then you wherent abusing the system, thats your choice. Managing that many orders was the way to go, and bots did that the best.
Thats a stupid move and you where wasting ISK. In this case the new fees shouldnt be a big difference for you with this playstyle.
And thats why CCP put this patch online. Its boring gameplay and bots do it the best. Now the trader with the smartest price will succeed. I think thats the far better story.
Did you ever try to sell a Jump Freighter? They still did that alot.
Did it ever occure to you, that CCP has the numbers? You where not selling 700m Items with 3+ orders at once, you are a smaller fish in the market. This change is not made to nerf you, its made to stop the big abusers, thats why you dont understand the change.
You will get used to the change and you will still make ISK, dont worry too much about it.

yeah theres virtualy no point in me playing eve now. ANd I only just got back in the game after a couple years. I used to be able to make isk for my main to blow stuff up and fool around and have my secondary as hisec ttader/hauler. Now Ill have to mine or some ā ā ā ā ? lolā¦

Subbed 2 days before the patch hit after a hiatus. Now my isk making tarder alt is uselessā¦ however many years, ISK and SP down the drain. CCP has kindly gave me a refund for my sub as I wont be playing the game because itās just not the same game I subbed for.

People who are wierdly enjoying peoples characters becoming obsoleteā¦ wellā¦ Not sure why they are so gleefully happy about anyone leaving the game because not being able to enjoy their time in EVE. Each to their own.

Items will always be produced (those that can).
The supply of items for us station traders is much smaller that the possibilities for industrialists.
Yes,ā¦ I can get hold of a item for less isk than the build cost, and so I might sell it at a far lower price (we usually donāt though, why should we throw away a possible 50% margin and make it 30% for no reason). But when I sell mine, itās back to those that build it to sell theirs for their margin. We donāt have an āunlimitedā supply
Congratulations for not reading my textā¦ they based their patch on a bad image of the market, that only holds true in a very small portion of said market
So they ā ā ā ā ā ā a 95% good system, because 5% of it had a bad taste to it

I know the intention of this change, but they completely ā ā ā ā ā ā it up since this change hurts those that work with slower trading items far more than the big abusers with their stocks of thousandsā¦ that what you hear all the damm timeā¦ those that work in the lower priced faster moving region of the market are barely hindered by this change.

Yes, for someone that started the game in 2005 a cruiser might look cheap as f right now, but thatās because there is much more bigger stuff nowā¦ after all, a battleships once was rarer than a Titan is now

When I started in 2009, a Caracal was around 9-12m.
Now, you can get one for 5-7m.
If the perspective is of the new player, why are they trying for a 100m isk Battleship and not the 6m isk crusier? 6m is really easy to raise. You just do the SoE Arc that new players are pointed to, and do it in your free ships (ideal for the arc) and its done?

You do realize, that real traders deal in few hundred billions to trillions, right?
You are a smaller fish, deal with it. Show me a screenshot of you having more than 300b ISK in orders up and i am ready to take that back.
Also everything is ALOT cheaper right now. Caracals where 10m ISK, when Plex was 300m ISK
Now, even after the mineral scarity, the Caracal is still around 10m ISK, but Plex is 1600m ISK.
So compared to inflation ships got super cheap.

You donāt nessecarily have to have 300b in orders set up to count as a ābigger fishāā¦
300b with small margins and high volume might result to the same as 100b with bigger margins
Prior to the patch this year, I made just over 80b while being away for 4 weeks
I also used to have a manipulating hand in over 70% of the implant market, but dialed that down and moved to a bigger variety of items because that was a safe option to avoid a complete stale when some part of the market collapses (parts of the High-grade market were close to collapsing due to my meddling, partially because I f*d up at a few points)
The fact that I have been active for just 16 months mearly means, that I simply canāt give a reliable statement for how the market was before I started
You dont have to have 1 million dollars, to call yourself a millionair?
If you are actually that amazing, then adapt, you will still make profit
Dont get me wrong, i am always open to learn more about your market tricks, even if they wont work like before the patch, but you are only playing for a few months and got a few million ISK.
Compared to the big boys in the market game in a game like Eve thats nothing.
With players around, that played the game over 10 times as long as you and got over 100(0) times more ISK, you can claim that:
