It has a 13s align, costs 500m if it gets caught it’ll die eventually, warps slow. Yacht is cheaper and more effective for travel.

i mean this is CCP that’s basically what they have done for years i just want them to stop nerfing things and give us updated hulls for supers or just carriers in general. they did the chimera but never gave any of the other carriers are redo

This anti-headshot ship is stupid. In real war that is a tactic. If a fleet can’t manage to figure something out after mongoloid X Y or Z get shot they don’t deserve a “good” fight. Hopefully this crap just gets the EHP of a Damnation or less…you want to talk about the little guy having a chance let them kill all enemy FC’s and then a fleet has to retreat.

So tldr: command ship that’ll end up costing 3 times as much as a regular command ship.

Has about 250k ehp (after skills and links) which is split between both your shields and armor (making it essentially tank less then any ship)

And cant fit probes (cause all fc’s have a scanning alts, especially newbie fc’s)

I for one think this is a non damaging change to the game that the game can technically only benefit from

How would the EVE, which is about choices and consequences, possible benefit from a ship that negates all sorts of choices and consequences and which is immune to pointing, scraming, ewar and so on? :thinking:

because its not immume to pointing and scramming. But has extra resist for ewar only

My bad, misread the warp disruption stuff. But still, you cannot incapacitate the enemy FC with ewar is a huge limitation to choice and consequences.

It’s kinda obvious why they don’t want it to be able fit ewar or any aggressive modules.

I fully agree, and I approve of Wirespeed’s proposition !

I’m curious as to the rationale for why probe launchers are a no-no on this ship. I can’t really think of anything in particular. Is the worry that exploration sites that spawn rats or have environmental dangers will be trivialized by the ship? That’s honestly the only thing I can think of.

You can if you bring enough ECM. And there are many different types of fleet comps that could. The point is ccp is providing a option to a problem. Which is not even a bandaid. They give FCs the choice to survive a headshot or to go with a regular heavy tanked ship to fc in depending on scenario’s. As far as I can tell it does nothing damaging to gameplay whatsoever. Scram or point a fcs just as they warp fleet is seperated from the fleet Fc still most likely dies.

I think they forgot that Cyno’s take fitting to fit.

Things I hate:

  • Poor EHP overall. I can get better out of a T3C’s or command ships.
  • Focusing on resists is great to receive reps, but to combat headshotting you need large EHP not just large resists.
  • It can’t fit probes. FC’s with combat probes have a huge advantage over those without in the vast majority of cases.
  • Whore gun? Some FC’s still care about their killboard. At least give it an ability to be on a kill mail.
  • You should never be 100% immune to ecm.
  • Very little ability to adjust the speed from ABs, MWDs etc without manually setting speed all the time.

Things I like:

  • Small sig radius.

Yeah I’m not going to fly this as an FC because I can get better from other options already available, for less skill points, probably for cheaper and with better layouts for probes and whore guns. This is a stupid ship imo.

It has 30m sig so it’s hard to headshot it with missiles/drones and large artillery, the resistances also make it hard to apply to with medium artillery because you can’t paint it up

Not to mention that the lack of cargo hold means it can’t hold the LO3 it needs to light the cyno anyways.
