The command burst that the outrider offers would have significant use in metaliminal mining sites and would be great for leading a fleet of newer players. please change the ship restrictions to allow t2 mining destroyers.
What is the intended goal of these mining site ship restrictions?
I think those restrictions are meant to offer newer players a place to mine which isn’t a competitive mining site for experienced players who fly their own multiboxed mining fleet with foreman bursts. This allows newer players to mine the sites undisturbed as these sites won’t be emptied out by experienced miners.
Allowing mining command ships such as the Outrider into such sites seems to be contradictory to the reason the restrictions exist.
Or am I misinterpreting the goal of those restrictions?
In my mind the main goal of the restrictions was to prevent mining barges from running the sites. I’m trying to figure out ways to run them with full pioneer fleets which is much more accessible to new players.
If CCPs intention was that mining boosts were allowed in these sites but no mining barges, wouldn’t they have added Porpoises to the ‘allowed’ list?

This homefront operation takes place in a deadspace pocket with an acceleration gate that has ship restrictions.

Tech 1 haulers, including Squall

Makes sense that outrider cant be used since its a t2 ship
My hope was that they could change it. Because this would be a niche the outrider would excel in if allowed. it would also allow for new types of fleets to be possible.
Its not intended for t2 ships leave it alone
The money people make with these sites is already insane. Why buff it further?

It would allow one veteran player to lead a fleet of new players in easier to fly and afford ships.
ccp decided T2’s didn’t need to be in these, and there’s plenty of options to choose from to do the site with..
He can already do that. He can fly a Venture just like them.
