I consider Mike a friend and I once rented a huge boat just to annoy him one evening with a bunch of Eve nerds! Seriously though, Mike is good people. We’ve known each other for a long time, he attended my very first public event way back in 2010 and I’ve been a long time Magic Bus supporter.
Mike has my full support and will be on my ballot as always.
For some strange reason this bit of information makes me want to reconsider my decision to vote for you.
It is an interesting aspect of how when giving someone your trust (vote) comments like this can be interpreted and perceived - especially when you consider that the field is comprised of a lot of good candidates.
On the other hand, Mike doesn’t need anyone to vouch for him - at least not in a way where this ‘vouching’ is merely a platform for self serving promotion.
This is not intended as confrontational post. It merely reflect the challenges with selecting 10 out of many good people.
I am voting for and fully endorsing Mike Azariah for CSM16
I know bits and pieces of what Mike does with his Magic School Bus, but what I do know is that he is a passionate and well informed player, and is definately CSM material
I have no doubt he will be successful again this year.
Every year I make endorsements for CSM on my blog Eveoganda and I do so based solely on the quality of the candidates I endorse. This year it is even more critical to do so because I am also running for CSM as an independent candidate. My primary concern is the health and continued growth of Low Security and Faction Warfare. However, I also strongly believe that the CSM works best when many independent voices are heard. As such, Mike Azariah (who has always had a spot on my ballot) will have another one this year. Mike is good people and I look forward to serving with him.
Good interview, Mike.
Great point about the willingness to engage the public in various arenas. I can respect that a great deal.
Best of luck this year!
