Mildly to Moderatly Infuriating UI problems that need addressed

Ah, I understand now. Looking back I’m now not even sure I understood your point correctly. To clarify, I was agreeing with a previous poster who pointed out that vague, indistinct icons without any labels and obfuscated controls (i.e. non-intuitive UI elements) were unhelpful to players. For me, UI design pretty much peaked with recognizable colored icons that had labels, obvious buttons and other controls all within easy mouse distance of window content. Radial menus are are also very nice as long as the iconography is clear. For a specific example of bad UI design, look at the mission dialog and how you can double-click on faction pictures for more info. A newbie would probably not even realize you could do this.
