The idea would be to create a mining capable ship above Exhumers (maybe capital class?) that have a mining speed/yield comparable to mining ships like Exhumers that are being boosted, but this ship itself could not be given (or grant itself) mining foreman boosts.
More efficient miner → More ore mined → More ore refined → Higher mineral supply → Lower mineral prices. Firstly it would alleviate the issue of higher class ships being quite expensive and often enough not even being used for a large part of the community (since losing them costs quite dearly). In result, it would motivate players to use these ships/fits more often but at the same time (it might) keep their price just steep enough that no one would simply throw them at a fight without second thought.
Second, it would allow singleboxers to contribute in a more impactful way to industry jobs and grant them a way to actually compete with multiboxers.
At first, it might seem unfair that multiboxers have an obvious advantage in different paths of income like ratting and mining. Either because an individual simply has a more capable computer to play on or because they want to micro multiple clones for a more serious playstyle. I get it, the game has quite obvious pros when using multiple accounts and sometimes even an extra account is mandatory (cynos/JFs) and maybe these people should be rewarded for being ready to pay more money on the game or risking multiple ships at once on the field. But I think this idea might be a good way to grant singleboxers a way to participate more in the market. Just like there exists the higher risk multibox miner setup, perhaps it could be a good way to create a higher risk way for singleboxers to mine, i.e. an expensive mining ship designed specifically to be independent of mining foreman boosts.
