Hi,

I often have wrong icons for my ammo/charges. For example a ring of white stars on grey background instead of the covert cloaking device, minmatar ammo icons instead of missile/railgun ammo icons, grey faces instead of cap charges etc.

It usually happens upon login but it also happened mid-fight, albeit very rarely.

Relogging sometimes fix the issue, not always.

Today I deleted everything related to EVE, application, documents files, %appdata% files, everything and reinstalled a fresh client: didn’t fix the problem.

This a very recent PC, Ryzen 9 9900X, 64Go RAM, RTX5080 with latest drivers, Win11, only game installed is EVE, no fancy applications, just the usual browser, office suite and the like.

It is very annoying since it’s not obvious in a fight to think that the cap injector might look like a circle of stars.

I know for a fact I’m not alone in this, a corp mate had the same problem which, allegedly, fixed by itself, this should get more replies.

I second tnat, happens infrequently, wrong icon logos applied to Core Probe scanners etc.

Definitely had and still have this issue and have submitted a Bug Report for it.

In my case my Gas Scoop icons changed to grey faces.

Bizarre.

No response on Bug Report as yet

I submitted bug reports too, does CCP acknowledge bugs/bug reports?
I feel like they don’t care much, especially when it comes to years old bugs.

Mainly you will only hear about the bug report, if they delete the bug report, send you an e-mail, saying approximate “Hi we have converted your bug report into a ticket, but can’t tell you anything on the subject and the ticket has been automatically closed. If you indeed meant to file a bug report, then file a new one as this one was deleted when converted into a ticket.”.

This has also happened to me, I used Revo Uninstaller to remove everything including registry keys. It was fine for a few days, now the issue is back.

Same problem on multiple accounts.
AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 32 RAM, RTX5080.

Fixed my problem with empty icons by deleting files cache:
1). ESC while in game client.
2). Reset settings tab
3). Delete all files cache.

Client will close and everything was fine for me after log in
